22:37 POWERFUL POINT! To "give" implies sacrifice. It's not a sacrifice for us to go to God, it's a must. He gave and is "The Gift" to us, not vice versa. (The wording at most altar calls implies the opposite). The giving that we do comes AFTER the starting point of Salvation. It's the daily surrendering to His Will over our wills, to live out His Purpose for our lives; remaining in Him, in spite of warring fleshly desires that combat His Will. ✨️ Thank You, Dr. Golden! ✨️

Like it never made sense to me …needless to say I left the church age’s ago and have been studying the Bible for myself… Happy I found you! My studies went to the next level

Myron my sentiments exactly I have to listen to most of my videos at 1.52x faster because that’s how the brain God has given me processes things. So much so that I would read 10-20 chapters at a time & had to train myself to read slower. Thinking, speaking , hearing faster than you read is certainly bittersweet

But, concerning your pet peeve, if a church gives an altar call and they don’t use the correct theological wording, God sees the hearts. The thief on the cross did not use the perfect theological wording. He just said remember me when you come into your kingdom, and that was enough for Jesus, to save him. So if the pastor says, come, give your life to Jesus; God sees their heart and understands that they are coming to Jesus as he asked them to when he said, come on to me all ye that are weary. Also, I’ve almost never heard of a church recently Use those words in an altar call so it’s a non-issue. I was saved while driving my truck down the road. My theology wasn’t perfect At that point either, I just called out “Jesus save me!” please, don’t take this comment as criticism, I’m adding it because you said that you were comfortable with people who disagree on some points. I’m the same way. I’ve been recommending that my family listen to your videos. Keep up the great work!
