Story 1: Ok few things may explain this. Japanese Police have a bad habit of not getting involved in "family matters" to the extent that actual assaults can happen between family members and the police will low key shame you for pressing charges against your own family. As for the locks I'm unsure how it works with landlords in Japan since I've only ever lived with friends and family so you may need to get permission and if its through a renting company then just like everything in Japan it will take weeks to even get a response.
In all these stories the bad people are all hideous 👹 monsters and Demon spawns of Satan they got what they deserve every bad person in this any stories .
