    I went a little overboard with that Intro montage but I hope everyone enjoyed it! I can’t wait to shred more tires in this car 💨

    I still say you were running from the cops and won. You crazy guy lol, awesome intro Ryan! Exciting ass music and Ali having a blast too! Oil cooler looks nice too 👍

      🤣 Hahaha thanks Bobby!!! I seriously can’t wait to get over to your neck of the woods and run some of those roads with you and the s2000. It looks beautiful over there!

      @@DriveItRyan That would be rad! Im in socal.. theres some nice roads, but the best roads is bay area and north california. CT looks like it has nice roads too!

      @@bobbyrios2k223 we definitely do! Mostly in northwestern CT. I’ve always wanted to do some Canyon driving though too. I’ve done it a little in a Nissan Versa rental, but it just didn’t quite hit the same 😂

    Do you happen to remember the part numbers from the bolts, rubber grommets and O-rings you replaced on the oil cooler? Thank you

    Does the engine warm up take longer?

    Gotta give the big shout to FCP Euro Motorsports for sponsoring the Proving Grounds at Lime Rock, AKA the new and improved go-cart tract! 👍 Great video as always.

    Do you have to pre fill the oil cooler before installing it or it’s not necessary? Thanks

    • @matthias_372
      @matthias_372 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a really valid question. Yes, you should pre fill the cooler but is't hardly possible the way it's positioned. Spin the starter actually without spark plugs for a minute to get at least some air out of the system and then take it slow for the first 100km. This should be enough to have the cooler bled completely. The clearances of the S65 rod bearings are so small that oil starvation is the worst you can do for this great engine

    Recently added this oil cooler and PS cooler to mine - hitting the track for first time since install - hoping for cooler running temps across the board

    • @DriveItRyan
      @DriveItRyan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to let me know how it goes! PS cooler is up next. Hopefully it’ll help with the dreaded boiling PS fluid.

      @@DriveItRyan are you recording the diy for the ps cooler? Is it as straightforward as this?

    • @DriveItRyan
      @DriveItRyan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zoohere98259 yeah I will be. I should be diving back into this project in a week or so. The PS cooler involves removing the radiator from what I’ve read so it’s a little more involved.

    • @zoohere98259
      @zoohere98259 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DriveItRyan of course. Any part we need to replace while doing the job? Orings, bolts etc.? Was looking at the diagram on realoem and it seems it’s attached with nothing in between. Is it a pretty straightforward replacing the stock ps cooler, unplug and plug in the new PS? Anyhow, looking forward to a diy vid.
