Hello Fall Paper Bag Mini Album Part 1 {Bag Construction}

- This is the first in a series of videos where I use the Hello Fall paper pack and paper bags and make a mini album. I am doing it classic paper bag style. I have listed below the products I am using, I may use other items as we get going but we are making this project in real time so I don't know how it will turn out yet!
Bags I am using are 8 1/2 x 4 5/8 in
8 Bags
4- 5 1/2 b 5 1/4 cards stock for page flaps scored at 4 3/4 on the 5 1/4 side
4-5 -1/2 by 4 3/4 scored at 2 3/4 on the 5 1/2 side
4- 2 x 4 3/4 scored at 1 inch on the 2 inch side.

Following along with the bags, but I'll do mine in a Christmas theme when we decorate. Thank you for making the video. You are a great teacher.
Can't wait for this album love your work. just a FYI jen of eve designs gave this tip for doing albums use sticky tape and glue stick so you have time to make adjustments to your gluing. To explain put the sticky tape down remove the liner then add glue stick over the sticky tape and add to project like you always do. hope this is not confusing it works great.
I am going to make one and wanted to do this with you today, but got called to the ER for a Deaf man to interpret for him, so that is where I spent my day...But just watched and soo. Enjoyed
Absolutely giving a paper bag mini another go!!! Can't tell you how many times I've stopped the video and backed up. THAT'S AWESOME to me to have that ability. The video is fantastic and at my disposal any old time. Thanks SO SO SO MUCH!!! Worked right beside you AT MY PACE and you are a fantastic teacher and so dang creative!! Love it! Well I sid fet something together. I see why buying quality bags is so much better!. I had to use white inside did not have any tan card stock. Waiting for Tuesday!

WooHoo! I have been waiting for this. Will probably get started on this this evening or tomorrow. Right now we are processing our deer. Won't take too long as it is a small one. Ron never hunts for antlers. He hunts for meat for the freezer. You have to get pretty close to get a deer with an arrow. Will Vinnie be hunting this year?

I want to make this bag but I am going to use different paper since I have so much in my stash that I need to use up. So far I do like this album.
As always, love your clear and well explained tutorial. This certainly encourages me to want to follow along and make one.
I tried the tutorial where you glued the bags together but wasn't keen on how the pages turned... looks like this might solve that problem! (that one turned out super cute) had been wanting to do an album for a while and your tutorials seem easiest to follow and l look forward to making another album through one of your tutorials!

What if your pocket flap is not quite flush on both sides... one side is more of an angle and you can't change it?

I'm going to try my best to make this as we go. That was the fastest 14 minutes. I'll watch again to be sure I have everything in my head. This is going to be great.

Just as an FYI--I bought these same bags, but they were really crooked and did not take the same measurements/cuts as the ones you listed. I had to RE-CUT pieces in a different way to make everything fit and work! :( So BE CAREFUL, and check your measurements before you CUT because all the bags don't take that size cut you list. (I learned this the hard way- I cut all my pieces, used my sticky tape and had everything ready to put together and they were TOO SHORT!!!!!! GRRRRR! They were a little over an 8th of an inch different on SOME cuts... nerve racking!!!

Issues. Did you buy them from my store? I only ask cause I wonder if they are made in batches and have some discrepancies? I’ve opened a couple bags of them and haven’t seen any significant measuring issues, especially 1/8th of an inch.
Would be cool for a wedding or baby shower prize, wonder where they sell gold or silver bags ?

Love your project, as usual. But you seem hurried and rushed, which means your usual thoroughness in explanation and demonstration is sadly missing! Fortunately I have followed you for awhile, so pretty much see where you're going, but if this was my first time watching you, I would be tempted to not watch again...Sorry....love you lots, but disappointed.

did you glue the gussets of the bags that don't have a flap?

no, these are the bags she is selling in her store especially for mini albums... they have no saw tooth edges or little 1/2 circle at top of bags
