    While I agree with him saying “we should learn about laws of the land and all that”, I disagree with him with the scenario he cited in the bus. I find that part contradictory to what he said about we looking down on ourselves as “darki” people. Everyone talks or behaves differently. Some people talk slow, others fast. We walk differently. All can’t talk or walk or dress the same. Talking on a high voice note in a bus is not CRIME! it is also not a shameful thing to talk “loud”. It doesn’t also mean you are more educated or more humble when you talk slow or on a low tone. Sometimes, you the host you should also ask critical questions when some statements are said. So that the interviewee can clarify more. This may prevent confusion or contradictions. Black peoples have their own way of doing things. No one should tell us we are too loud or we should talk in a certain tone!

      @Jay-Artistic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree, so many people including the abrofo in America and so many other cultures envy the Africans for our strenght and masculinity. Some abrofo also act like our strong voice, our hair, our dressing and our physical appearance is a crime backthen and it has roots in colonialism and slavery all from jealously and envy. See how they have brainwashed us to think our God given talents that differentiate us from others are crimes just to keep us timid and inferior.

    • @setcho2712
      @setcho2712 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kwabena, It is not a case of variety that is being emphasized by the guy and I must add that it is not only a problem of blacks talking TOO LOUD in public places. However, it is more common amongst blacks. If you see/hear a white person being loud chances are he/she is drunk, young & rough or simply trying to sound tough. Sit in a quiet carriage of a train (where everyone knows loud talking/noise is not allowed) and a black person walks in with his loud music in the ear or his phone never stops ringing all throughout the journey. Be so unlucky to share a row or seat with a particular group of people or tribe (that I know from Nigeria) and if they speak on their phone, everyone in the coach will turn their head in your direction, some people (and mostly blacks) are just too loud where they shouldn't, and it feels they are aggressive too.
      In summary, I think some of us are either inconsiderate or just too self-seeking. Others are also completely ignorant and have too much ego to learn decency from anyone.

    • @KBDuah
      @KBDuah 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@setcho2712 if it is indicated in the bus not to make noise as you said, and they do, then I think it’s wrong.
      But if there’s no notice and people get agitated or think less of a person for talking loud or playing music, I STRONGLY oppose. Like I said earlier the attitude of a white person should never be the yardstick of what’s nice, or decent or right.

    • @setcho2712
      @setcho2712 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@KBDuah This is simply wrong. You can't expect to be told by a sign or text in the bus not to be too loud. Any reasonable person is expected to moderate whatever noise they make by considering who is affected. I don't think you will want to scream as loud as someone in a football stadium because there is no warning not to shout too loud. Reasonability/being considerate is what is implied by the lack of notice.

    • @Jay-Artistic
      @Jay-Artistic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@setcho2712 Speaking loud is not a crime, rather speaking loud is a form of masculinity and boldness. Some people are loud and some are quiet by nature. Some animals are loud and some are quiet. Some dress flashy and some simple. You have introverts and extroverts in the world. Most blacks are extroverts because of our families, communities, environment, our music that is why we are loud and naturally bold. It is not a crime to speak loud. In some cultures men are taught to be loud and clear when speaking or giving a speech.

    I agree with a few things he said, but if you say because some certain people act in a certain way that makes them irritating towards other people and because of that what forms of treatment racially that comes their way is okay, then I think your reasoning is very fallacious, and I hope you change your mind about that soon. Annoying necessarily doesn't mean the person is bad or evil, it could be that you the individual does not like the way someone behaves, but the fact that you do not like them, does not mean that you have the right to abuse them racially or treat them poorly. No one deserves to be treated that way and that's facts.
