Thank you so much for the tips man I used to throw the tail whip with my back foot and I wouldn’t have a foot open to catch it and I would always accidentally catch with my front foot but now that I throw it with my front foot I can catch with my back foot really well

It's not a problem and it in my opinion it looks cooler, but it's not that efficient and it will take more time to learn to catch it!

I finally learned them I just whipped faster and put my foot out and pull up and when I feel my back foot catch the deck I put my front foot on now my whip catches are insanely clean

You’ve prob got it by now, but if not, my tips to you might be to bend your knees slightly before jumping just to get more steady and maybe jump higher, the next part might take a few days to get the right feel, but after you jump with your scooter, just focus on keeping your feet right next to each other, I don’t know if that helps at all.

I recorded myself and it seems that I’m constantly jumping to my left to catch the deck (goofy) and im sort of “hopping” from point A to point B as the deck whips around… I’ve watched many tutorials and I can’t seem to just stay in place and scissor kick my feet apart to create the rotation and be ready to catch. When I try to, my front foot keeps dragging along the grip tape and getting stuck. How can I correct my form to achieve the scissor kick outward while popping upwards? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
