Hi Erin, I love all your projects but my favourites are the jars, they look beautiful with the stencils on them. I think I’m going to have to do something similar with some jars for my granddaughters kitchen , she doesn’t have much room so I’ll only do jars I won’t be looking for a big one for her, they’ll still look nice though and I also have a small rolling pin that I can put in one of them for her. I even don’t mind the distressing you’ve done on the jars. I don’t like distressing at all, when people did it years ago along with crackle paint I never liked it either. I think it looks great in the projects that everyone does it’s just not for me. I have trouble getting my head around putting all that paint on and then sanding it off or making it crack and fall off, it’s something in my brain I guess. Everyone is doing it and has been for so long and I think it looks so good on some things so I should like it and I have tried it on some projects I’ve done but I just can’t bring myself to do it. That pug chopping board looks great as a tea towel hanger, very cute and I also love the riser board you did as well. Enjoy your week Erin. Erin... do you think the closest DB color to the color of a real crock is Drop Cloth? I guess I need to hold the paint up to one of my crocks. I always thought that Sand Bar was which is like just a shade darker than Drop Cloth. Now you have me wondering, lol 😜 I am totally going to have to compare them because I have like 4 or 5 "crock" shaped containers that need to be refinished and I was honestly thinking about doing them today 😁❤
I think sandbar is also a good match too. They both work I think. 😊
