A couple of notes: First blend only the limes with the water, do it for no longer than 10 seconds so it doesn't get too sour, and strain it. Rinse the blender and then you blend that with the condensed milk, ice and a little sugar. Trust me. Also, I think it's so funny you guys say "Brazilian lemonade" when we call it "swiss lemonade" over here. Our "normal" lemonade doesn't have the condensed milk.

Additionally, if you heat the limes first (like use 3-5 sec turns in a microwave at a time) until they are warmed to like… sitting in the sun mid summer type heat, and roll the lime until its almost like a stressball (while warm) this activates the sugars and transmutes some of the alkali components, leading to an even more intensely citrus taste, reducing the harsher bite, and creating a natural sweet Pop to the flavor you would not otherwise get. In a quick glance the type you can get on amazon can run between 95¢ an ounce and 35$ an ounce, most likely with varying degrees of accuracy, taste modification, and more, but, this makes almost Every citrus fruit better. You can actually like inject it into or submerge a full fruit in the mix and leave it a while so that you have clean slices inside a newly thinned peel, but that can be a mess or go strange, and uses Way more material. Its generally better to make a big mason jar filled with “slices” the pour in a batch to cover it
Brazilian limeade is amazing and so is Vietnamese lemonade. With Brazilian limeade, it's all about the condense milk as that's the secret. With Vietnamese lemonade, it's the exact same as American lemonade but, they add a little bit of salt into it, which then completely changes the taste. Well, might as well try Vietnamese coffee as well as that's amazingly good and also uses condense milk as a sweetener.

You can make it how you want, really no need for the sugar with sweetened condensed milk it's enough. Brazilian lemonade is also notoriously bitter because of using the whole lime including the pith thats where the bitterness is. So you zest your limes then cut the limes up without the pith. The lemonade will have NO BITTERNESS.
It's its own thing - the lime flavor is distinctly different than key limes, but now you have me wanting to try it with key limes - if you try it, it might be worth going by weight. 4 limes are probably equal to something like 12-20 key limes (depending on sizes), so weight is probably a better measure.

i would suggest shaving off the peel so that you don't have the ''pith'' added, there's no real reason to add it unless you like a slight bitterness, so it is way better if you leave it out.

Interesting idea 😍 I will make it someday, but instead of sugar I will add erythritol, replace condensed milk with protein/whey powder (without flavors), and instead of water I will use milk with 0-0.5% fat. I think that a healthier and lower-calorie version may also be good :3 Moreover, to prepare lemonade, I recommend using chopped and frozen lemons and limes - it will blend much better ^-^
Jordan! I highly recommend trying out a Dr. pepper shake mixed with Caramel! I got my hands on some Dr. Pepper syrup meant for snow cones, and I just mix it with vanilla ice cream, and some caramel. It is SOOOOOOO GOOOD!!!
Hi, yeah, the condensed milk is good, and yet I usually try to go against my mother's recipes and only use half of the condensed milk. If you add a bit, not a lot,, not a spoon mountain, of salt, and maybe heat the sugar up slightly so it caramelizes, aint gonna care if people use more sugar in the actual recipes, yours going to turn sweeter (if, you heat it up the right enough way, there isn't a right way but there are wrong ways or mixtures to heat up sugar)...
Ive made brazilian limeade a few time and while its interesting its an inferior citrus beverage that will get you an upset stomach solely because of the amount of condense milk in this drink. Youre better off making Egyptian Lemonade instead. Its basically ice blended lemonade with mint leaf in it and its the most delicious refreshing drink you'll ever have. Just slice up lemons and put in a blender along with water, sugar and a handful if mint leaves, blend it then strain and lastly pour liquid back in the blender and blend with ice and enjoy a very refreshing drink during the hot summers.
Another amazing tip for this is if you dont like the slight bitterness, then you should zest the limes before putting it in the blender and get rid of the white part since that is what causes the bitterness but make sure to still include the green outer part
Life hack: buy a large lemonade with no ice from Chik fil a, and order some of their ice cream, and then you can store them in the fridge/freezer and blend them up yourself whenever you want one of their frosted lemonade (like on Sundays)

Jordan made this way too confusing, and the camera focus didn't help. I will however save this recipe and make it soon, cheers!
Note for myself so that I don't need to translate the units each time : - 4 limes - 80ml of sugar (~70g) - 400g of sweetened condensed milk - 950ml of water - 950ml of ice cubes (I rounded the translations)

I have a jar like that for my mix drinks too lol and that exact straw!! Its the brain freeze straw that helps the cold drink get even colder or at least feel like it is lol! Got it at a gas station few years ago and its still one of my best purchases in my life.

Just a suggestion...you won't get the bitter flavor if you peel the lime before following your recipe. If you however, appreciate a little bitter you just did it. Thank you for sharing a recipe from home...

There is a similar drink in egypt where you use lime, mint, sugar, water, ice and blend it.
I have a similar version
4 limes quartered
4cups water
Blend then strain
Rinse blender
Add lime water
Ice
1 can of condensed milk
Blend
There you go

We call this in Brazil 'Swiss lemonade' but I prefer mine without condensed milk.
I have a jar like that for my mix drinks too lol and that exact straw!! Its the brain freeze straw that helps the cold drink get even colder or at least feel like it is lol! Got it at a gas station few years ago and its still one of my best purchases in my life.
