I am rationalist in my thinking,
An atheist in my belief system,
An engineer by education and
An applied scientist by profession.
Now I am 70 and retired from professional engagements.
During the 40+ years in my engineering service I have come across many highly educated engineers and scientists who are equally highly superstitious. I always wonder are they really engineers and scientists!
Many movies, TV serials and TH-cam videos also promote superstitions, I think they do so just because it sells.
I am very happy to have come across this video which clearly depict the dangers of blind beliefs and superstitions. I hope and wish that such videos penetrate the minds of the people submerged in blind beliefs and superstitions and make them think rationally. My best wishes to the team.
In lighter vein I wish in the video in addition to the mother and daughter, the astrologer too had been apprehended as a culprit (in the case of attempted murder) and given severe punishment.

@legend9937 I am very happy to read your response Sumitra. Here I will take the liberty to share a few things with you, mind you I am not giving out any advice.
Religion, rituals, superstitions and many other irrational practices are indoctrinated onto us by the family and society. No child is born as a hindu, christian, muslim or any other religion, it is just born into a family practicing one or the other religion and over time gets indoctrinated with the belief system prevailing in family and close social circle. And later even as adults it never feel the need to question these belief system. Only a very few develop a thinking of their own and try to rationalise their understanding of these belief systems.
Always keep an open mind, question everything but don't argue or try to convince others but try to improve your own understanding of things and develop the courage of conviction in your own thinking. Let others have their own.
Look into the works of great minds like Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman, Richard Dawkins and others and develop a scientific bent of mind and work at your aspiration of becoming an astrophysist and I am sure you will reach great heights.
