Jeera rice also called Jeera fried rice is an Indian as well as Pakistani dish having rice and cumin seeds (jeera) as the main ingredient. It is a very tasty dish which can be prepared in a very simple way and can be enjoyed with both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.
Preparation time- 5 mins +1 hr(for soaking rice)
Cooking time- 45mins
Cuisine-Indian and Pakistani
Yields- 3

Ingredients:
1. Basmati rice- 300 g
2. Salt -2 tsp
3. Sugar-1 &1/2tsp
4. Black pepper powder-1/2tsp
5.Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
5. Refined oil
6. Ghee - 2 tsp
7. Star anise
8. Bay leaf- 2pcs
9. Dry red chilli-1 pc
10. Clove-2pcs
11. Cinnamon -1 inch stick
12. Cumin seeds- 2-3tbsp
13. Coriander leaves-a handful
14. Lemon juice

কতটা পরিমাণ জল লাগবে উল্লেখ করলেন না। ভাতের মাড় ফ্যান ঝাড়ার প্রয়োজন নেই, যদি চালের দ্বিগুণ পরিমাণ জল অর্থাৎ (চাল 1 একক : জল 2 একক) করলে চালের ফ্যান ফেলতে হবে না, এক টেবিল চামচ সাদা তেল ওতে দিয়ে দিলে ভাত একবারে ঝর ঝরে হয়ে যাবে তারপর আপনার ঐ উপকরণ গুলো দিয়ে ভাজুন।
