Managed to finish all the alpha race missions, the canoe one was the hardest. The easiest imo is probably the maewing one, because all you need is practice and really good reflexes. The hardest in practice is definitely the canoe one, the hardest with high ping is the enforcer one.
i can do it gamma and beta ez alpha is cancer on my server 3 people have beat it with 0.01-0.03 seconds to spare. and 100s of attempts each. i can get about 3 secs off alpha and its insanely luck based in if your enforcer does what you tell it to do.
Oh Noobs, you're too polite. I'm always cursing up a storm when I play these stupid missions. It seems Wildcard outsourced the mini-games to someone who has background skills in torture. You would think in other games we play these days, like GTA and Lara Croft, that these mini-games and missions over time and through upgrades would get better (fixed) instead of getting crappier. On another note, (May 2022) I've noticed that Alpha Dino's dino droops are dropping fewer items to none. I get better drops from Alpha Raptors 40 than A Alpha Rex 145.
omg ive been trying to finish my alpha missions and these racing ones are DREADFUL on official servers. The lag spikes make it nearly impossible. When i finally got maewing slide on Alpha the freaking server crashed. I was ready to pull out my hair today.
I got a tek mosa saddle outta one of the alpha missions today - and I just started on gen 2 (have had DLC for a while, didn't bother playing it) so I can't even tame a mosa yet because I don't have a trap or anything set up.
Paddling thru with canoe is not the issue ! Getting thru with NO canoe damage is my problem. How did you make it thru, with all the rocks you hit, with NO damage?
OMG I have to ask Nooblets: WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO FINISH THE STARWING STRIKE? You're a freaking pro for real, that race is so annoying on official, I haven't been able to even race it properly. I HATE YOU, THE ENVY LEVELS RIGHT NOW ARE RISING.................................. On the Slidestream race, don't worry too much about getting the speed boost checkpoints on the small areas, just focus on the big open ones.
The missions were by far the worst addition to the game. They killed the game when Gen1 and Gen2 released. Completing all is next to impossible, especially on console where the bulk of the players are. We did the completion glitch up until it was patched.
The xbox series version of ark is the dumbest thing I ever play. God the devs are beyond stupid. Love how i have a permanent heatstroke everywhere on Scorched earth hence, my I am playing on a permanent blur when im just on to farm the artifacts because its such a useless map. Thats not making it difficult its just stupid.😑😑😑. Having to go back to base to get useless SE clothing

My canoe constantly gets caught on the rocks. Nearly throw my pad through the TV. I Hate these missions sooo much.
