Javier was a jerk for pranking the bride he was gonna marry, not to mention a narcissist. It shows he’s not the marrying type. His pranks ruined a bunch of lives.
Javier's behavior is proof this marriage would of flipped. He refuses to take responsibility. He refuses to accept lying and that what they did caused bodily harm and ruined an important event. He only cared about humiliation at her expense and not the aftermath. What he snd his "buddies" received afterwards was fair.
Cake worth at least several hundred dollars, ruined wedding dress, disrupted reception? Even without injuries, that would be one heck of a bill. Since they snuck in the venue, it has some responsibility.
It's insane that people would actually do something this spectacularly stupid. How in the world do people expect to crash a wedding and not face repercussions for it?

In Japan and South Korea, marriage is a legally binding civil registration which can be followed by a religious ceremony. The ceremony is optional - people are married when they register.
