These Ladas are really good. Today it is a modern classic. Older ones were definitely better. But these models are now a modern classic. Might be the most beautiful 2109 I've ever seen. I know the asking price and it deserves it in every way because it is very hard to find in this condition. I recently bought one of the same, but it has a lot of work to do.

I've owned 2 Lada Samara's - 3 door 1.3Litre. There were a couple of teething problems, though my first Lada did 320,000 km's over 16 years. I put a tow bar on it & hauled a small trailer. It could go anywhere & was very solid. I would have kept it longer but I made the false economy by putting cheap fuel in it & ruined the motor. My second Lada was a 2nd hand job with 120,00km already on it. I put another 100,000km's before I sold it.
Im from europe and back in 90 i was owned Skoda Favorit 1991 and i can tell that Lada Samara its copy of Skoda Favorit so again russian copy somene else patent >>>>>
Товарищ, ты глубоко ошибаешься, семейство спутник разрабатывалось ещё с 70х годов в СССР и в 84 м появился первый автомобиль- ваз 2108 , та же 2109 , но с тремя дверми. Фаворит же появился уже во 2 половине 70х , то ли в 87 , то ли в 87 , и никак не мог быть прототипом 2109 , скорее наоборот, вы сплагиатили советскую машину.

The engine was designed with Porsche. The first production cars even said "System Porsche" on the valve cover, but it was removed for obvious reasons
