Rick , I appreciate you going above and beyond your scope of work !
Thanks for carrying us along for the ride Rick!
Great video. Awesome idea with the jumper to divide the current. Maybe it helps, maybe not, but it sounds good, lol. I like it 🤙
Thanks 👍
Good Job Rick, Good Gomer Pyle too. Lol
Right now all I deal with is self contained units. As soon as I heard that noise I thought liquid refrigerant. Only because I have ran into that on a Howard McCray produce case that is almost designed the same way. Good stuff Rick!
These videos are gold, i run into some of the exact same equipment as you. Living outside a big city you see a mix of new and old. Thanks for keeping your side of town up and running
You know that's the coolest camera 😊😊😊
That floor looks amazing
Bro that camera is clutch
Thanks for the videos Rick! Love seeing all of it
👍👍🤜🤛
Liquid refrigerant dripping into the sump makes that noise when it suddenly vapourises.
I doubt anyone under 45-50 will catch the Gomer Pyle reference! I've done that in similar situations myself! Appreciate the humor bro! That camera seems like it really comes in handy too.😁😎 Another Great Video!!
You’re probably probably right. It’s not even something that was on TV very often even when I was a kid.
You're correct I'm 42 and had no idea lol.
Good job Rick.
Good post!
Nice work and troubleshooting Rick.
You give me a look at new tools I ❤that camera will look into it😊
Link is below, thanks man!
Hey Rick, Im a young residential/commercial tech and I love watching your videos! Its so cool to see a technician who works on anything and everything and does it well! I do have one question about a tool I see you use a lot during the heating season. Where did you get your steel wool brush that you use on flame sensors? It cleans a sensor better than anything I've ever used and seen and Id really like to pick it up but noticed it wasnt in your toolbox in your link. Thanks a ton!
PS. Would you mind doing a video on your toolbag setup with your M5B5 bag?
Thanks for reaching out. They are made by MARS but I couldn’t find them on Amazon. I got them at the supply house but here is a couple links that are similar. The key is small or micro stainless steel brush head. It cleans up with water or brake cleaner and doesn’t leave grooves in the sensor or anything you clean. 3-Piece Wire Brush Set: Brass, Stainless Steel, Nylon Brushes - Ideal for Cleaning in Confined Areas and Corners - Black www.lowes.com/pd/Lincoln-Electric-3-Pack-Wire-Brushes/1001282304 or amzn.to/4cAqrG6 or amzn.to/4cCzs19
Nicely done Rick.
Thanks Jason!
Great job Rick
Captain you tickle me very cool camera . Be safe Hoss
Thanks for another awesome video
Thanks for watching!
I want a camera similar to that but I want more than 2 way articulation
Parabéns fico impressionado com as ferramentas de vcs!!!! Aqui no brasil tem ferramentas boas mas sao muito caras
Gracias!
Good job
Thank you!
Great Video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the video! :)
My pleasure!
The leaker looked like it was caused by a rub thru ?
I always like the refrigeration videos. What's the purpose of the jumper wires on the contactor? Thanks for all of the information you share.
That divided the current between the two legs of the contactor, increasing the life of it.
Thanks for responding.
That canera seems really nice , do you think the wand is thin enough to get inside Chiller evaps ?
Depends what the size it. I think this one is 8mm. They have a smaller diameter camera.
You are right if it was heated defrost evap fan should be off. Did it flood when it defrosted?
Nope. That pan heater was 1800 watts I believe. It was boiling it off fairly fast.
Why did you put those jumpers on the contactor you replaced? I don't understand how that makes it last longer.
The current will divide equally per leg.
Now all the service calls are going to come in after using the M word 😁 Thanks for the video!
M word?
@@HVACRSurvival at the end “maintenances”. Happens to me when I try to schedule maintenance.
Cool video man. I haven't been able to watch your channel in a few months, did you switch companies? I don't remember seeing so many supermarket videos before. Or did your company pick up new accounts?
Nope I’m at the same place. We’re a large company with 17 techs. People move on and I moved up.
Quick question.
You we have to empty the case..
Do you do it or the employees at the store?
Asking because, I never empty a case, because if something get broken..
I do help out, I'm not a complete a-hole.
I normally ask them to do it. This was really small so I didn’t mind it. But if it’s a long set of freezer cases with hundreds of packages then that’s gonna be them.
Great video. Do you enjoy doing supermarket rack systems?I have been thinking about getting into it. Would you recommend getting into it?
It’s definitely challenging at times. The stores I work under are all pretty beat up so that sometimes sucks but yeah, I kind of enjoy it.
The best part of the video was the yellow shirt 🎉
🤣I hope your a female👍👍
I didn’t know Kermit the frog was an hvac tech too!
Not Kermit but Gomer Pile.
That was Gomer Pyle
How do you like your MB5B veto bag, and I'm going to buy one but there isn't a dealer near me. To check out the bags. Between that bag and the tech pack mc. Thought please.
I have both bags. I like them both but the MBIB is a little bit lighter so I’ve been using that. Into the back of the backpack is another pain in the butt and the straps lay in the dirt.
Nice trouble shooting, I have a question, what brand is that paint marker i need one, my sharpie sucks lol.
uni-paint
Are those silicone leads on your Fluke 902?
Yes they are.
@HVACRSurvival Need to get me a set... btw, that's a sweet camera.
@@Neto-1984 they are some American-made leads. I’ll need to look up what name they are, but they’re better than anything I’ve ever had. There are company that makes leads for high-end test equipment like oscilloscopes
@HVACRSurvival I had a set, but I had to go back to the original stiff ones due to an unfortunate incident I had with my good leads, lol.
These are great for most connections but they won’t reach into a wall outlet.
👍🇺🇸💪❄️ nice Gomer Pyle! I like hogan's heroes.
Great 🎉Job 🎉🌴🤙🌴
Thank you 👍
