11:34 Churchill and Roosevelt spoke enough French to chat with Generals De Gaulle and Giraud at Casablanca.
It was clearly said isn't it those are your People
I remark that's it's typically anglo-saxon to disrespect the french tricolore flag, everyone knows it's blue-white-red, not the other way... on french TV you would never see that sort of "mistake" (more a fault in my mind)
Oh come on! It's an American film and they refer to the "red white and blue" when talking about their flag; it's habit, not some insult; would you actually like to make some comment on the film and its content that would be of interest?
@@petermckerrow7694 Totally wrong guy... I served in french forces based in Germany, and worked with NATO forces, mostly the 1st US armoured cavalry brigade (Ramstein), most when referreing to french flag were saying blue-white-red or simply tricolore. When a so called journalist make a TV report or intent to do some, he should prepare it and do its job, if so, he wouldn't have done this mistake.
12:48 Don’t you love that after a battle victory, they would have the Army band, in battle uniform & steel helmets, playing marches past the generals. It was about public perception.
