Very nice and exotic video! I heard that these torpedo cars can haul up to 200 tonnes. 3:43 - interesting effect on the car`s suspension. 4:48 - very very nice light! It is sure one of my favorites!
Saludos 👍👋🙋♂️
I wouldn't want to be on that bridge or too close to those torpedo cars without their kids on..., when they decide to spit, you're done. Happens more than you think. Great video, by the way.
My father worked at Ensidesa (now Arcelor-Mittal) almost since the start of their operations in Avilés, and he told me about two incidents with these wagons. On the first one it seems that they dropped the molten metal either from too high or with the wrong flow, and the torpedo broke , spitting pig iron everywhere. He told me that he had never seen people running so fast, even at the Olimpic Games... On the second time they were driving loaded torpedos on a bumpy section, and it seems the load was a bit bigger than usual and the torpedos were spitting pig iron here and there...and some power cables were laid along the tracks. You can imagine the outcome.
Excelente Registro, lindo trenes torpedo. Saludos
