He joined Bobby Rydell and Frankie Avalon to make up the threesome. Sadly, as I write this in May of 2022, Bobby Rydell has just passed away. Not sure if there are plans to continue shows with the remaining two singers.
He was superb in an episode of Bus Stop where he played a psychopathic killer. He deserved an Emmy nomination for it. The episode was directed by Robert Altman and caused a furor as being "too violent".

Maybe those two appeared too often and became complacent. I think Arlene Francis saves the show, especially this episode with her quip about passing the bar.
The 'tenuous product' comment wasn't rude at all. It was a misunderstanding on her part. That's all. When Daly provided the clarification, you can immediately hear her say, "oh", demonstrating her confusion.
