"An 'aguinaldo' is traditionally a folk carol present in several Spanish colonized countires, where a group of people go from house to house to sing. In the Phillippines, the 'aguinaldo' has come to refer to gifts - usually coins, cash or candies - received by children who go caroling, 'Sa May Bahay (In a Home)' and 'Mano Po, Ninong (Respect to you, Godparents)' are two of the most popular songs that are sung when kids go caroling."
