I planned to start this in September, but I got sick, weather, new job etc..... was planning to take it away for the opening on the Cod season in December, so don't think I'll make it. Hopefully its a fun project :)

I have some ideas and have made some basic plans in sketchup, the base size is 1900 X 3000 and I'm planning on a standard queen bed mattress so that will take up most of the space, typical galley in the back. Really looking to have a setup that will be done and dusted within 10 minutes of arriving at site.
in nsw you can go get a blue slip and if it has no vin number the rta will give the mechanic a number to stamp on to draw bar and classed as home made trailer
I looked into the process in VIC and homemade or not, it's now the same process, has to be registered in the DOT database before it can be registered, that means all manner of hoops to jump through, not to mention the cost involved. A huge crackdown on rebirthing stolen trailers means they make it hard now.
