I think it’s a compelling idea but if the figure is Yorkie wouldn’t that mean he’s got to be like ~80 years old by now? I guess technically the hair color given for that image might be changed later but I’d expect grey or white hair by that age, also if he’s visiting laboon does that mean he waited 60 years to visit? It would have to be his first visit otherwise laboon wouldn’t have been so distraught when we met him, and does the visit mean that brook’s goal to see laboon is no longer necessary since the promise was already fulfilled by yorkie? I guess you could argue there’s still the value in letting laboon hear the crews last performance
He’d be around 70! We don’t know what color his hair is yet, it’s never been officially colored! Yorki’s hair IS blond but we don’t know the stranger. I agree with you, as a huge Yorki fan; I want him to meet him as a pair for Laboon, acting as a duet for their son and the future.
Your remarks on education hit home given the current state of politics and talk of getting rid of the public education system. One thing that honestly got me into anime is its respect for education as a whole, I’ve always loved the mentor student dynamic portrayed in so many series. Oda absolutely is a political author as much as he is a fantasy, comedy, etc based author. - Speaking of dynamic, I appreciate the personality you all bring to the community. Mama Drawk has the voice of a respectable teacher, you both have such great tone. Love the drawings building up with the dialogue too. I am new to this channel and know this is a loaded comment, but I had to share my thoughts. Will definitely be tuning in for more content ✌️
Chapter 1134 Prediction: Saul reveals he is a part of the Revolutionary Army and the chapter ends with this: Saul: “I never would have expected you to find your brother, Robin.” Last panel is Luffy, oblivious to the stunning revelation. Robin didn’t just find A family. Robin found a blood brother. (Theory is that Dragon hooked up with Olvia, meaning Luffy and Robin are half-siblings.) *Mostly joking, but I do still wonder about Dragon’s appearance on Ohara after the Buster Call.
I read 1032 and 1033 back to back at work and I got already teary-eyed when luffy and Usopp stood on the cloud saying 'we made it Usopp!' then it calmed down at the start of 1033 and they began showing these additions to Robin's backstory and in my head already replayed the anime moments of "shoot down that flag" and "I want to live" and it weakened my mental defenses till the moment where they met and started talking and then that "you did well staying alive" hit along with that one panel with that smile before she cried(wich is now one of my favorite Manga panels of all time just that one panel of Robin smiling) and the moment she teared up I was in tears and I loved the crew reaction to this cause it really was mine and it in a way made me as a reader feel part of the crew. Sorry for being a bit cringe there
Also I dunno but Mama Drawk would probably like the Series Gintama if she doesn't mind the sometimes south park like humor without the social satire in it. It's mostly a comedy series but that's just a facade to make you bond with the great characters in it before playing with your feelings in concentrated but serious moments but because they pre-conditioned your brain with the lots of comedy they are able to throw in a joke without breaking the serious moment and instead making it more endearing. As for what to watch the Manga is definitely fine but the anime for me does it better cause they made changes to their jokes to fit the medium they are in also (don't watch the crunchyroll subs they are honestly badly localized in things like some titles). Also the comedy sometimes requires knowledge of Japanese pop culture to make it hit right but some fan subs ran the extra mile to explain some context or word puns
I cried reading the chapter. I cried watching Murphy's review. I cried watching this review. Can't wait to cry again with Melon's. God it feels good to cry for something you love.
Im not crying! _You're_ crying! .... Ok fine, we're _both_ crying! For real though, when we see Robin's smile after Saul does his yell, I broke down a little. Heck, as soon as Luffy was all about going to see the guy who protected his crew mate, I was pretty much there. I can't believe there are people out there who somehow miss the bonds between these characters. Btw, since this comment isn't long enough yet, I wanna thank Drawk and Mama once again for doing some deep thinking I never even considered.
What I notice about what Shanks did is what I always think about with Garp. He is an extremely powerful person with certain responsibilities that makes it to where he can't just do or allow certain things to happen around him. The Red Haired pirates HAD to make the Barto Club pay in front of anyone that could've let it be known that you can make a Mickey out of Shanks as long as you say you're cool with the Strawhats. He had to do it for the rep and protection that rep comes with. Garp had to deal with that same thing but more personally. His power gave him rep and his rep makes protection for the commoners that his name is stamped to. You don't do anything piracy anywhere Garp has put his name at unless you WANT him coming for you. What would happen if he helped to let go of Ace at that point in time? The world would have to be let known that that guy, the Hero of the Marines, had just let a Commander of the WB Pirates go and he would likely lose his status and be labelled a criminal losing the protections those towns had which would be a festival of piracy and vengeance against Garp through the commoners. He HAD to follow the law and I dont blame him at all for what he chose as someone who grew up in the world where the worst of the worst pirates were mainly what was around and his position in the world and finally if Ace had asked him to help him then he would've. Those three things has me on the side of Garp did nothing wrong, but the things he did right he regrets. These top tier characters have all this power and no true freedom to do as they please because of their responsibilities to others and their reputation. And as we saw with Garp he ended up where he is now because he used his position to do what was the wrong thing by the other Marine's ways, but it was the right thing to do for the ones he knew could change the system best and it grew them, but it cost him nearly his life.

Something I just realized while listening to this is that everybody in the crew has at least one person outside if the crew who they care deeply about. Robin was the exception because anyone who could have filled that role died in the Ohara incident, but noe with Saul being alive, its true of the entire crew. I wonder if this was purposeful or just coincidence that the one and only exception is no longer an exception
I also think that Robbin lost her will to live in Alabasta because she saw Vivi having what she didn't had and it may have confirm to her that she wasn't alowed to hace friends that will fight for her
I have always thought Brooks captain was still alive. Since when does Oda not show a character dying in a flashback? He set that up the way he did to trick us
Spandine was the reason why Robin was called the devil child. An eight years old was judged as the murderer of her own people. How could you Spandine. How could you?!
She held hope to live for Ohara. To pursue history. But she finds in Alabasta that maybe the WG is right. All she can do is find more WMDs. Then she miraculously finds another one in Skypeia. Another fkn weapon. But then Roger's message revives hope. I wonder what she'd do if she didn't find that. Roger saving lives from beyond the grave.
One of the most beautiful things about them reuniting was Sauls introduction monolgue. Putting yourself in Saul's shoes, how do you greet someone you once knew, that you inspired, who had to live through hell and persecution from THE WORLD when you see them again? Sauls answer to this question was not only making a callback to his first greeting but to reassaure Robin. More than anything, Saul wanted to reassure Robin that the struggles that he "forced" (more like convinced) her to go through were NOT in vain. That her lifes mission meant something. So, he started talking about the impact of her worn and life in the grand and universal impact that it had. However, Robin didnt want the reassurance of the world, of Vegapunk, of Ohara, or even her mom's work at that moment. She wanted to reassurance from Saul. Saul reassured Robin, not through him, but through everyone else. But Robin didnt care about the political, worldwide, historical impact of her life. She just wanted to be reassured by her closest friend🥲
Elbaph has a very weird, childish feeling to it overall. I think the designs in it are more from Odas own childhood than some other recent work. It's hard to guess how he feels about it, since he must have conceptualised it 25 years ago when he was a different person.
I feel like you guys put a lot more responsibility into the title of “Pirate King” than there actually is. Yes on the face it seems like a King would rule over other people but the fact of the matter is that even Roger didn’t care that much about the title, just that it sounded cool and gave him an opportunity to be remembered. Not like an Emperor who actually order people around and govern territory. I feel like “Pirate King” is just a title, like “Greatest Swordsman”, where the only requirement is finding the One Piece. What one does with that title is the big thing to focus on.
I’m very on bord with Luffy’s last hurdle before he’s fully ready to be his immaturity about Shanks. Wait, GUYS WHAT IF LUFFY MADE A DEAL WITH LOKI TO MEET SHANKS LIKE “I’ll free you, but you have to get me to Shanks later!” Loki was ready to fight Shanks, which is wild, but also shows that he’s confident he can find Shanks. This would be a very embarrassing thing to admit (that he wants to show shanks how great a pirate he is), so Luffy would try to lie about it. Thus, being immature, idolizing, and careless about his responsibility as an Emperor
my personal headcanon is that the current 4 emperors represent the 4 typical political extremes... luffy is an anarchist, shanks is a tankie, buggy is ancap and bb is a fascist lol
About the mysterious shadowy figure, allow me to give my conspiracy theory. Kidd or Killer. Let me be the first to say there are two very big holes with this. #1. The cover story with Crocus and Laboon. #2. They'd probably still need time to recover if one or both of them aren't dead. (Which, like, they aren't yet) Thats where the bit with Louis Arnot "Don't stay too long or shit gets wacky" comes in. If the theories of that meaning time shenanigans are true, then maybe Kidd/Killer would heal faster or be significantly older. The hair fits Killer, and could fit an older Kidd. And they could've gotten the hat from Wano. Other than that this theory ain't got shit. I just want to see Kidd admit he's a fraud sooner than later.
In Japanese, Luffy only says "I think about 10 men should do..." How many women, though? Roger had about 26 nakama (Oda named them all). Luffy's going to TOP Roger. Luffy currently has about 9-10 nakama, BB has 10 Titanic Captains. Will Luffy get over 26? Maybe 32 titanic Grand Fleet captains? 44? (ShiShi is 4 4 in Japanese, also Yon Juu Yon, forty-four )
I choked up and wept when Mama Drawk narrated Saul... The title of the chapter is closer to "Praise me" which is something a child would say, so Robin is feeling comfortable enough to be her child-self with Saul. You need to know... Hope this helps... Dereshi, dereshishi has many meanings in Japanese. Let me share this with you: When I use Google Translate to investigate, I get MANY meanings, like the following: Dereshi: 出れシ "Get Out!" 出れし "Come Out!" 出れ市 "Dere City" ... "Get out, death," "Come out, death," "Get Out, City," AND "Come Out City." Even in English, these phrases have multiple meanings. I'm sure this will have an impact in the final saga.
Yamato wanted to go with luffy but she knew wano need her more not cause luffy wanted her to plus she i still not her own person she is basically cosplaying as oden everyday to the point where she is talking to the mans kids saying im your dad and confused when they look at her like shes crazy. I need this cover story to make her her own person
My guy, did you read this chapter, and hear my explanation? This is a chapter all about how Robin was widely considered a terrorist- that was just in the manga. If you were a civilian in One Piece, you would consider Robin a terrorist, right? Since you were told the info everyone else was. Why is Luffy exempt from that?
@ my guy, lol, words have actual definitions. We don’t get to play loosey goosey with them for fun. It wasn’t true when everyone clowned on hasan for this dogwater opinion, and it’s still not true now. It’s just objectively false and if you can’t see something that simple, why should I take your opinions seriously?
@@DeebusThat's actually a misconception- words don't inherently have definitions: we make them have definitions. People use words how they will, and the job of the linguists who run dictionary companies is to write definitions based on how they're used. Definitions are not a natural constant. So answer me: if you were in the One Piece world, being told that Robin is a terrorist, would you call her one? If so, then to her setting, she is a terrorist. And if people would say the same about Luffy, he is, too. That is how words work.
@ holy shit, I didn’t expect you to be THIS intellectually dishonest with your argument. I’m impressed but I can’t say I’m surprised at this point 🤷♂️
@@Deebus My guy, I have been frank from the beginning about my opinion and why I hold it. If you misunderstood my point, that's fine, but don't accuse me of dishonesty.
I remember having a weird headcanon a long time ago about captain yorkie's disease going into remission miraculously, changing his name to hiruluk, returning to the grand line and eventually spending the remainder of his years in drum kingdom
I was irritated when I learned Saul was alive but my observation haki told me where he was going with it.😉 Seeing Robin ugly One Piece cry into Saul's beard. I thought. Okay Oda, you can have this one. There is still a long list of characters whose heroic moments and sacrifices were cheapened for my by there resurrection. It is difficult for me to convey tone in text so I want to stress that I am an not angry shouty fanboy about this. It is more of a mild disappointment. Like when a restaurant tells me they don't have Dr. Pepper but they do have Mr. Pibb. I'll still eat there but I will not drink Pibb.😁
Y'all really have helped illuminate a new depth of One Piece for me. The moment I saw Luffy's comments towards Robin in this last chapter I thought, "Yep, there's what Mamadrawk has been talking about. Luffy is growing as a leader. The Drawls are right." I've thanked y'all for that before, and I'll now do it again. That said, I'm still going to disagree with you on reading politics into the series. One Piece may be political, but I don't think it necessarily aligns with your politics. But hey, maybe I'll make a, "One Piece is right wing" essay some day to counterpoint y'all. /s
I think the basic difference is not about what OP’s political message is, but rather what “left” and “right” mean. Most people think that whatever “side” they’re on is the side of freedom, while the other side is the one responsible for oppression. Since political beliefs are almost always communicated through the lens of government, we all have ample material to show that the other side is authoritarian. When we think about who is left or right, and what that means, we’re usually talking about governing politicians-they’re all inherently authoritarian to some degree. As somebody who agrees with their interpretation and generally believes that left wing thought is more liberating, I certainly can’t deny that there have been and still are plenty of leftists authoritarians. Of course there are valid right-leaning critiques of left-leaning policies, politicians, and trends. So if that’s the sort of thing you’re focused on, then you’ll see conservatism as standing up to statist meddling in people’s lives, etc., and thus see a message of freedom and rebellion as right-coded. But of course I’m right and you’re wrong and conservatives are the oppressive bad guys :p
@@michaelk4295 Yeah, I think you're definitely onto something. My comment was something like 70% jovial in nature. I really don't even like calling myself right wing seriously because I frankly don't agree with the foundational philosophical assumptions of ideology as a whole. But that's a complex discussion. I guess I mostly made the comment because whenever they mention a political position as if those who disagree with them have never considered the alternative (in this case them mentioning the life vs choice thing) I feel the need to remind them they have political dissidents happily watching their videos. Not sure why. Maybe I'm just argumentative. And it's funny to me how rarely people consider that those of other political persuasion might enjoy the same media and hobbies. Everyone loves One Piece.
Mama I’m sorry but that statement is so blanketed. I get you don’t agree with people who are pro lifers but why do you automatically assume pro lifers don’t care what happens to the fetus’ and babies after they are born? It’s almost like you just buy into whatever the media tells you and wants you to believe about pro lifers and I don’t think that’s a fair assessment. And kind of a lazy argument against murder (what pro lifers believe not saying it is) tbh
I go by statistics and data, not media. I do not appreciate you accusing me of not doing due diligence because I have come to a conclusion you don’t like. I look at children in care, the foster system, abuse statics, the rise of sexual assault, gun violence in schools, the lack of affordable housing for low income parents, no universal healthcare, honestly I could go on and on. The vast majority of pro-lifers, and I do mean vast, stop all their marching and arguing and hand wringing at the abortion clinic. Show me the millions, let alone thousands, of pro-lifers working nearly as hard to demand children have improved foster care, affordable housing, free health and dental care, diapers etc. I think it’s too fair an assessment. And it’s kinda lazy to ignore all these needs and claim to care about children beyond the clinic tbh. (I say this comfortably as a person of research and a child of poverty)

And Buggy put his freedom on credit.
More of these chapter reviews, please!
Will definitely be tuning in for more content ✌️
you two are wonderful i love this chapter discussion so much
We all know pearl is the one piece
You’re killing me smalls
Chapter 1134 Prediction:
Saul reveals he is a part of the Revolutionary Army and the chapter ends with this:
Saul: “I never would have expected you to find your brother, Robin.” Last panel is Luffy, oblivious to the stunning revelation.
Robin didn’t just find A family. Robin found a blood brother.
(Theory is that Dragon hooked up with Olvia, meaning Luffy and Robin are half-siblings.)
*Mostly joking, but I do still wonder about Dragon’s appearance on Ohara after the Buster Call.
Also the comedy sometimes requires knowledge of Japanese pop culture to make it hit right but some fan subs ran the extra mile to explain some context or word puns
i gotta agree with both things. i loved this chapter/that smile, and gintama is probably a 1A/1B series for me
The guy in the beginning of the chapter talking to the press is Spandam's father Spandine.
I cried reading the chapter. I cried watching Murphy's review. I cried watching this review. Can't wait to cry again with Melon's. God it feels good to cry for something you love.
56:48 NAMI STAYS LOSING LMFFAAOO
I think there is an axis for Buggy and Foxy, because one of them is forced by crew to be a leader, while other forced his crew to go with him
During Robin and Saul's conversation, i had to stop in the middle and sob for few minutes🥲
Mentioning that the silhouette person is yorkie, on a video edited by CRICKET! Now thats comedy.
They got me so excited I fucking forgot to mute the video audio for the Yorki scene
For me, after watching your relationships stream and at the end of this chapter, every crew member is an S tier with Robin.
YES!!! So much serious talk, I am moved... So moved, I almost didn't watch your drawing! "Manufacturing consent." Careful, droogies! Tomodachi, Nakama.
I think if your videos feature human faces (like yours) for the first part of the video, and the video starts by giving introductions to the voices, I would click quicker.
Keep rockin' on @The Drawk Show Not a streamer or TH-camr, but that's my experience, and rooting for your growth. Cheers! 😀
I also think that Robbin lost her will to live in Alabasta because she saw Vivi having what she didn't had and it may have confirm to her that she wasn't alowed to hace friends that will fight for her
37:11 To be fair it wasn't Shank that did it or ordered it it was Usopp dad who decided to destroy his ship.
Mom cooking again

Awww Mama Drawk did Nami dirty again 😂
Did anyone else notice that one of the little mermaid quintuplits name is nika
Take a shot every time Mama or Drawk say "free" & let me know if you made it 😂
Elbaph has a very weird, childish feeling to it overall. I think the designs in it are more from Odas own childhood than some other recent work. It's hard to guess how he feels about it, since he must have conceptualised it 25 years ago when he was a different person.
45:18 The manga Frieren tackles this question in a cool way
it's on their tbr list!
9:30 thought she was going to mention Israel for a second
does this mean that Luffy has been training his Observation Haki ever since Shanks blasted his Conquerer's Haki at the start of his Journey?
So Shanks is One for All, Teach is All for One, and Luffy is All for All.
Chapter 1133 is now my favorite chapter of One Piece, bar none. It's so. Ugh (insert the screaming kitten picture)
UGH!
What was that outro music? It sounded like Miles
Wait, GUYS
WHAT IF LUFFY MADE A DEAL WITH LOKI TO MEET SHANKS
LIKE “I’ll free you, but you have to get me to Shanks later!”
Loki was ready to fight Shanks, which is wild, but also shows that he’s confident he can find Shanks.
I think blackbeard is a liberal
Luffy can't lie to its not in his skill set
About the mysterious shadowy figure, allow me to give my conspiracy theory.
Kidd or Killer.
Let me be the first to say there are two very big holes with this.
#1. The cover story with Crocus and Laboon.
#2. They'd probably still need time to recover if one or both of them aren't dead. (Which, like, they aren't yet)
Thats where the bit with Louis Arnot "Don't stay too long or shit gets wacky" comes in.
Let me share this with you:
When I use Google Translate to investigate, I get MANY meanings, like the following:
Dereshi:
出れシ "Get Out!"
出れし "Come Out!"
出れ市 "Dere City" ...
"Get out, death,"
"Come out, death,"
"Get Out, City,"
AND "Come Out City."
Even in English, these phrases have multiple meanings. I'm sure this will have an impact in the final saga.
Thank you for this. What a boon
Moon Princess
Yamato wanted to go with luffy but she knew wano need her more not cause luffy wanted her to plus she i still not her own person she is basically cosplaying as oden everyday to the point where she is talking to the mans kids saying im your dad and confused when they look at her like shes crazy. I need this cover story to make her her own person
I love when ppl seriously call luffy a terrorist. It lets me know not to take that person seriously lmao
Present Robin and past Saul in the image? present Saul have a Hulk Hogan's mustashe and have his face and forearms burnt...
Where the hell is berserk? (Good episode this one. I found you through berserk was only small disappointed)
It takes a bit, pal
We have done a new one it will be out soon
Buggy doesnt do shit and loses his freedom anyway
Pibb is a movie theater drink. It’s not good anywhere else
@@HisMagnificencechipotle it hits
I hope yamatos reward for the quest he's on is magic top surgery.
Drake always ignoring the actual definition of terrorism..
Please try lol.
