Even if E3 does return as a in person event, they will loose the many companies that were part of it, because a lot of companies have realized “hey, making our own virtual event is easier than taking the time to pop up at E3” so I feel like E3 will never be the same
Unfortunately the killer of E3 is the same one that killed Blockbuster, Sears and even Toys R Us… the internet. With gaming companies now showcasing their stuff like Nintendo’ Direct videos, E3 has become irrelevant and its sad as E3 was an amazing experience for many gaming fans who had a chance to look at new games.
