Parabens pelo video, sou brasileiro, tava tendo dificuldade de montar um boxplot no excel 2013, ja tinha visto varios videos e com ajuda do seu video consegui fazer um. Muito obrigado
Yes, please note that the right (max) whisker in this demonstration is generated incorrectly. The max error should not be 100%, but rather "custom" set to the Max-Q3 difference.
As other have pointed out, the graph doesn't include the maximum error on the right side of the plot. The easiest way to fix this is to select the maximum quadrant (that you'll make clear-colored) and to set the error bar in this region using another minus direction error bar. Again, set to 100% and then you're good to go.
Is the whisker on the right side really correct?!? Data is going up to 1297 but your whisker only goes to ca. 1050...?!? I guess you have taken the wrong area to add the error bar, dont I?
Aurori001 Instead of using a Percentage of 100% for the Positive Error Bars, use Custom and then select both of the final difference values while holding Ctrl. Also, this doesn't address potential outliers, but it's not bad for a quick & dirty boxplot.
Thank you. Your instruction is easy to follow. If you only can make your voice a little bit louder and clear, it would be even better, so people doesn't need to repeat the video three times. Anyway, thank you soo much.
If you want to ensure that the whiskers are correct. Compute the lower and upper boundaries. Then find the largest data value that is less than the upper boundary and extend the whisker from Q3 to that value. Do the same for the smallest data value. Find the data that is greater than the lower boundary and draw the whisker from Q1 to that value. And any data beyond those boundaries are outliers, mark them with an X.
+Catrina Rawlsgray-Bell - not sure if that is the most accurate way. will only exclude single uppermost outlier. You may have more than one. Would probably need to use some kind of statisticlly determined cut off.
Youre the best, watching from Tanzania, sending love

This was exactly what I needed for a university statistics assignment, thank you so much!

+Shigeki Miyake-Stoner You're right, thanks mate!
+Shigeki Miyake-Stoner Thanks, just saved me a headache.
+Shigeki Miyake-Stoner Helped me a lot of trouble too!! Thank you very much!
+Shigeki Miyake-Stoner I knew something was up! You da best!
Microsoft is on a crusade against ease of use and intuitive design.
Thanks a lot. You have made my day

Easy to follow, you help a lot for my project.
Great video and simple steps. Thank you.

Thank you so much. Clear and concise instructions.
Thank you. This was immensely helpful for my intro to statistics class.
Thank you very much. It helped me much. It is easy and clearly demonstrated.
Thank you. However, how would you go about graphing outliers in a box plot on excel?
Why the Errorbar for "Max" is not ending at 1297 ?
Super ! I did not know you could do this in Excel
on
Why are the differences used to make the plot rather than the original numbers?
Great video! Easy to understand.
Amazing, I don't know how you came up with it... Thank you sooo much!
This is wrong. The error amount for the error bar to the right should be at the fixed value of the difference of the MAX and Q3.
this helped me a lot. thank you so much!

+Matthew Hunter this is the way my course book teaches it... I'm pretty sure their are many other ways.
+Catrina Rawlsgray-Bell sure. but there is a danger in that method as its over simplistic.
Thank you so much. Very helpful and clear
Really very helpful
It doesnt go all the way to the max. Why? Please help
That was so helpful! thank you!
Brilliant video!! thank you very much!
Thank you so much. You save my project.
Hi you!! from Vietnam ^^
This was sooooooo helpful!! :)
Very easy to follow
Thank you!
thank you. you were very helpful
I don't have the "Add Chart Element".
Thank you for making this video. :-)
thank you so much, Good instruction clearly :)
i like it, it helped me so much (:
Thank you very much for your Video! Except for your little mistake with the Maximum it was really helpfull!
thank you so much
u helped much
Thanx! Very helpful!
thanks very easy to follow
life saver!
Very usefull !!! thank you
very help full thanks :)
thank you!
Thanks so much
Well done - thank you....
cảm ơn nha.
Thanks. I love u
this is not right. The right side error bar should't be 100%
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you.
Thank you!
Thankyou so muchhhhhh
thanks a lot
lol
Bad
ahhh you speak way too fast!
