A other great upload!! The more i see these CandlePin videos I want to come up to the Northeast part of the country and try the game out. I’m from Iowa. We only have regular 10 pin and Duckpin.
Thank you! So happy this was found and shared! If memory serves, this was one of the first live shows that Wolf posted way back when. Much appreciated! Also I was born two months after this so it's a reminder of my aging process. 🤣
I bowl Texas 9 pin. It's exactly like 10 pin, but the pins are arranged differently, and it's scored differently also. This type of bowling is much closer to German "Kegeln" bowling. But this uses 10 pins and open lanes. German Kegeln uses 9 pins, but the same type of balls that are used in this video. The lanes are shaped. Some narrower, some more open.
I just came across this Candlepin bowling a couple of months ago and i really like it better than regular bowling and Thank You for showing it really good and yeah better regular bowling Thank You.🧐🤓 🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳
You should try Texas 9 pin. It's an absolute blast. Pure "team comradery" game. Once I discovered it, I stopped bowling 10 pin for the majority of the part.
Glad that there is a better quality version of this show compared to the one I originally uploaded, this looks great!!!! :D
Thanks!

This is great. Brian Leary was a good sidekick to Don Gillis.
Much better than that dork from the early 90s.
