I'd personally value this a lot more than any assembled plastic model kit (resin) model. But to each their own :). I'm just happy i got my hands on one.
One thing TLV does that isn't important to everyone is just how they feel in hand. The resin cars are gorgeous but they always feel light and fragile. I'm not afraid to pick up a Tomica though.
@@seismic6435 They feel light and fragile because they are light and fragile. And as a collector who displays cars loose and thus has to handle them on occasion, that feeling matters. So it's something TLV has over the resin cars.
0:55 The KDR30 had a single turbo engine. 1:23 You can use the scan and translate feature in Google translate. It will translate the text more easily that way using your phone's camera. Just keep it steady. I did that with the card I got with my TLV F40 when I had it.
Thanks for another enjoyable & informative review 👍. I acquired one of these TLV’s just before the new year so it was interesting to compare and contrast your take on the model. Looking at the base I’m given to understand this is a re-issue from around 2010, so not bad for a 13 year old casting & yes it is a bit of a curate’s egg as the saying goes with both good & bad points, but I still think it’s a worthy addition to anyone’s collection providing their quick enough. My experience in Australia is that they sell out fast. And yes it’s a pity they didn’t update the casting to the standards of their competitors but not unsurprising. The punters will still buy their stuff by the bucketload so why change?
Detailing Looks Great.....WIth Awesome Color And Liveries...Like JDM

Great👍 I bought one and can't wait to open it.
This might be one of the most detailed models ever in 1/64. I consider it the benchmark, but it confirms I’ll never willingly choose opening parts.
Awesome model bro

Where would the weight come from? Resin models are just plastic

I must have preordered it to avoid the high scalper prices of the original releases.
