I know i shouldn't, but she make me compare her with mashiro. The one that trained for 2 years and left after she didn't make it to ITZY. The way she portrayed her difficult journey as a non-korean trainee (clearly lily too) make me raised eyebrows. In other word, i do personally think she give up on her dream too easily (just because she didn't make it to the line up that ONE time) contradict to what she claim. Lucky for her to be chosen as the debut-line still this time. Which make me wanna give mad respect for Lily... Thanks for staying Lily..

Nah they have had vocalists like this... but they didn't know what to do with them. Jamie and Baek Yerin. And Baek Ayeon has a softer sound, but she has vocal prowess as well. They have a better handle on girl groups though, and now we are getting stronger vocals in one. Super excited tbh!

They never took away her original sound with that "half air half voice" technique like they did with other vocalists. They just never let her drop music and that was problematic. JYP attempted 15&, and then tossed it. A few songs dropped, and a lot of time in between promotions. Then short promotion times on top of that. They probably have a bunch of her music locked up that will never get released.

The C#5 was good and well supported while the D5 was rather nasal and didn't project well. She switched placements and it caused the sound to come out of her nose. But overall, her sustained notes are very promising.

I heard that this girl Lily is known for her vocals and wow, she just amazes me sooo much!!!! Her vocals are out of this world. Since she was young, she has always been such a good vocalist.
