Lenny White plays so effortlessly. Cobham with Mahavishnu was so energetic and powerful. Lenny barely looks like he is breaking a sweat. Both drummers are amazing as the final result of how they play.

Most of the audience doesn't know what just hit them, nor do they have any concept of the greatness they just witnessed. Only a few seem enthusiastic.
I saw RTF on Kirshner's in '74, I was 12 yrs old, I knew they were great but had no idea how great. Now at 58 yrs old I have some idea of how great these guys were (and still are) and I still can't believe them every time I re-watch.
Lenny White continuously keeps my attention even though I'm a guitarist, dude rules the kit.

I can't believe Chick composing standards came down to this from the absolutely Cosmic "Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy" album!

RIP Chick and thank you for heightening my appreciation for Jazz-Fusion of the 70s. My favorite synth-keyboardist GOAT.

Simply said this is one of the great performances of the vintage fusion archive. The production of the video is exquisite- absolutely captivating is the quad screen solo section which begins at 3:38. And I’ve gotta say I’m just a sucker for that bass riff with the perfectly harmonized moog - an absolutely Vulcanic timbre- Wonderful!

At one point in the show, Chick stepped out in front of keys to play a percussion duet w/Lenny. Chick's a damn good drummer himself!

Jeez. I was only 5 years old.. I WISH I was exposed to this rather than crap like Motley Crue, Poison, and [insert 80's metal band here].. about the only thing that sort of saved me from bad guitar was Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force solo album, Alcatrazz, and Steve Morse.

I could never understand Chick! He is the greatest exponent of the Electric Piano and the worse exponent in the use of the Pitch Wheel on the Mini Moog Synthesizer! Although, Corea's use of the Arp Pro Soloist was much better!
