    One of the most well done advertisements I've ever seen. It really captures the soul of a man.

      @@BALTICWatches I didn't know of the Baltic brand until now, so, unfortunately, I didn't get in on the pre-order. I hope to be able to get my hands on one when released to the public.

    One of those rare occasions when I actually watched an TH-cam ad instead of skipping. In fact, I had to find it to re-watch. The whole critique of rationalizing really hit deep (no pun intended)

      @@BALTICWatches I am a psychologist working in London. I loved this little video short. I've occasionally sent the link to a couple of clients. I have a couple of questions for you guys though: who wrote the script? Is it from a book or a play? And finally, who is the actor?
      Any other details about the ad (what agency, who is the actor we see in the video, where is it shot, who came up with the idea, etc), I'd love to know more.

    Genuinely the best advert I've ever seen. Superb voice, acting, script, storytelling and videography. Bravo! I noticed that you commented how you wanted to capture how a deep-sea diver felt- I am in fact a deep-sea diver and you did just that.

    This video is what convinced me to purchase the Aquascaphe. I was hesitating between a few dive watches, and although I had read great reviews and seen great pictures of it, it's really is this video that made be pull the trigger. And that is because I can relate with the content of the video and what the narrator talks about.

    Just received my Aquascaphe. It’s even better than in the commercial. This is one hell of a commercial too. It’s almost perfect. If only someone spellchecked the subtitles. The voice actor makes up for it though.

    The new bronze version looks amazing, I only wish it would have been offered in an amazing Baltic produced sunburst green dial instead. I already own the blue guilt, but I would have loved to add a green dial to my collection. Please Baltic release another amazing sunburst green dial maybe something inspired from the 1960s Vintage Rotary Aquaplunge.

    Best dive watch commercial ! Period. There's something about this captivates you to be part of it in a strange but very natural way. I'm still undicided on getting aquascape just because it's lug to lug is a bit too long for a 38mm diver. Wish it was may be 44mm or 45mm.

    I've read many reviews on this watch with mention that the owner of Baltic has a passion for vintage divers. Looking this model over in more depth on the steel rice beads bracelet, dial, drilled lugs and thin side profile I'd agree. It's nice for us smaller group of vintage lover's to have watches like this available new and price aside, based on looks I'd choose this watch of a Black Bay. My only complaint is with the selection of the movement for such a nice piece. The 9039 rotor is uni-directionalwinds meanin it only in one direction (clockwise) which tends to be less efficient and noiser than a eta/sellita or even a Seiko NH35.

    Tuesday November 13th 2021 I have purchased a Baltic watch beautiful in the picture and ads, i do not reckon the watch as a daily watch, the leather is reactive to water and the glass is sensitive in contact with other object. I won't mention my watch with poor surface texture under when i had received it.

      @@amirrezarezaie Hmmmm, salty response. With Seiko, you can buy a mass produced device. With a microbrand, you're getting to know the founders, the story, what they've done to arrive at this watch.
      There is also a lot of discussion about why the materials were chosen, why the dome is the way it is, the colours that you've got, where did the name come from, why it is priced the way it is, etc.
      For example, why did they not follow the mass producers, like Seiko, or Orient, and go for a 42mm case? why stick with 38? well, there is an appetite amongst watch aficionados that the original divers were small, didn't need a date, certainly did not require to be a chronograph (kind of pointless for a diver), so therefore, BALTIC stuck with the 'true', original visual of what a diver's watch should look like.
      This is the type of stuff that watch collectors want to discuss. A story.
      For the pragmatists, a Grand Seiko automatic is a fine watch, for £6,000 and will lose 4 seconds every 24hrs. For £400, your Baltic loses 7seconds and that might be your breaking point. I can't see any advantage there. If you don't want to lose any seconds, buy a Casio for £9 that has a battery - much more accurate.

    • @amirrezarezaie
      @amirrezarezaie 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@graeme0309 Writing a paragraph to prove its not overprice? lol
      A collector who cares about story, won't by Baltic, because Baltic has no story.

    • @graeme0309
      @graeme0309 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@amirrezarezaie no-one wrote a paragraph to prove it's not overpriced.
      As for 'not collectible', everyone started somewhere. Every brand. 1940 Panerai Radiomir (with Rolex movement), no-one wanted in 1946, not till 2006!
      I bought one on the Rue De Rennes in 2002 for 600Euro and now it's worth about £25,000.
      So, I have nothing to prove and I'm not trying to teach.
