Can you try using force or thunder dash, they are amazing when you use them right
Though, the disadvantage of Force is having to approach your opponent at a certain range to push them away. If they're good at the game, that trick probably won't work.

Although, I mastered how to use and trick people with Continuity Zero. Honestly, Continuity Zero is VERY OP considering it was a F2P ability.
