Candyman 4 all the way. Tony Todd your a awesome actor i really enjoyed the original movie Candyman best of luck on the new movie.
Just got done watching night of the living dead from 1990. He was great in that movie. Never seen the candyman movies, but he was good in the rock, the crow, sushi girl, and the final destination movies.

Honestly, I think what they should do with "Candyman" is do a "light reboot"/pseudo-sequel. Structure it as more of a stand-alone and smaller-scale personal story about a new lead character forced into a struggle against the Candyman- similar to the original film. But have it also structured in a way that it could also be viewed as canonical with the original film by not contradicting the rules and logic established in that film. (Although I would drop the contrived nonsense that started to creep into the second film and then ruined the third) Best of both worlds- not necessarily tied to the previous film outside of the Candyman character (thus "light reboot"), but also able to be viewed as a sequel by those who want to see it as such. And of course Tony Todd must return.
