With EM changing things up so much in this and the name of this song shows his talent and what he is able to do and what makes him the GOAT. That's why it seems confusing and has so many times it changes to something different.
13:24 Was waiting for this part. Your mouth just slowly opening and your eyebrows raising was a sight to behold. I'm sure other people had the same reaction you had when they first saw that part.
@GOTGames that section of this song earned Eminem 2 world records, being the longest high speed rap, and the fastest understandable speaking of words. I'm pretty sure he still holds that second one.
I'd not recommend it because I don't like it and that gimmick isn't worth it IMHO 😅 but that's just me (I'd love basically any song from Relapse and/or The Death of Slim Shady!)
It's the slow build that makes it pop. It's like your just chilling then suddenly you're doing 666 miles an hours down the freeway with a nuke in the trunk.
I was debating uploading the reaction, I was like... People are gonna hate me, the song is so popular and I'm not feeling it, and then... It happened 😂😂
Close, He held the record for most words in a hit song with 1570 words and he still technically has the record but Harry Shotta released a song called animal with 1771 words. Listen to it, it's kinda fire. It's just not a hit song so it doesn't really count.... Yet lol
The "gay lookin' boy" part is talking about things that people said about him. He's not calling anyone that, so you don't really have to worry about that part lol.
the look on your face by the end of the speed verse, priceless. also it is rumored that rap god was done in one take and it holds a world record for most words in a hit single
3:15 So that "news network hack" that you're talking about, the guy who did it was wearing a Max Headroom mask. Max Headroom was a "computer-generated celebrity" except he was played by an actor in a ton of makeup to make him look computer-generated. Since it's Eminem, though, I'd say he's referencing both the original show and the famous hack.

Em spits the lyrics so fast that at one point he actually was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records for the most words in the shortest time in a song. There may have been other ones since, but I just checked and Em still holds the record. From the Guinness Book website itself: "Rap God" by Eminem (USA) packs 1,560 words into a fast and furious 6 min 4 sec - that's a tongue-twisting average of 4.28 words per second! In one 15-second segment alone, "Slim Shady" spits 97 words (6.46 words per second) at "supersonic speed". Excluding the 26-second intro (spoken by an unknown vocalist) and an indeterminate number of words rapped by Eminem in the intro's background (likely to be 22, all included in the total of 1,560), "Slim Shady" actually raps 1,460 words in 5 min 38 sec (4.31 words per second) in the verses/choruses of the track.
After you react to Rap God and Godzilla, you should react to Calli's version where she try master both Rap God and Godzilla!! (spoiler: she did it in the end)
I can tell your reaction is genuine because that was how I reacted to this song too, took a while to get into it.
