I love sifting through your videos from Thaepae, I had my first fight here, I remember walking out to that bloody song. I managed to get a guy with 150 fights for my first fight, I managed to last around 1.45 into the first. Haha! Love watching your style develop. Clinching and Knees for days.

I really love your content, especially the commentaries. You do a great job at explaining the technical, outer aspects of fighting as well as the emotional, inner aspects. And especially those last aspects are way to often overlooked, especially when you are a man, people kind of don´t talk about fear, frustration and emotions in fighting. After my second amateur fight, against a bigger and better opponent, I cried out of frustration - and most people had no idea what was happening. After I rewatched the fight a couple of times, I realized it actually looked great from the outside, I put up a good fight and in no moment looked as overwhelmed as I felt. So it is important to realize that there are a lot of things going on inside of us when we fight, and especially men must learn to pay attention and talk about emotions, if we want to become better fighters (and better human beings for that matter) in more than a technical sense - and even there.

I'm pretty surprised by how many people who contact me about their first fight or an early loss are freaked out by feeling nervous. Man, why wouldn't you be? There's nothing "wrong" with nerves, fear, doubt... they're all part of it. They're just not the whole of it. Working with those emotions instead of assuming you should be without them is far more complete an experience. Thanks for your comment. Even just saying it here means a lot to anyone who sees it.

I've been watching your videos for many years and this fight is really a joy to watch and hear with your comments. A lot of work has been done and the accomplishment of a huge dedication is shown here. Congratulations on this win!

    Hey Sylvie!
This was an awesome fight and I was one of the lucky tourists to experience it. Kevin was filming it opposite from where I was sitting so I got to see myself in the video a few times lol
Training at Lanna has been amazing and Dang is an excellent instructor. He asked me to fight and should be setting up my first fight in a few weeks. I'm super nervous but excited at the same time.
You're a huge inspiration. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for always sharing your journey with us Sylvie! you're my hero and it's been an honor and privilege to see your growth as a fighter and as a human! I'll be coming to Thailand in December and I'd love to train amongst you, Kevin, and all of the Petchrungruang family. As a very litte Human myself, seeing you go up in weight and constantly challenging yourself is an amazing thing. Congrats on the win and I'm sure you made Andy proud.

Great fight Syvie! Your persistence with poise really unnerved her / gave her something to deal with she wasn't used to. Great mindset going into the fight too. Congrats!!

Never heard Kevin so excited haha. Great win Sylvie, dominated that clinch! No idea why she stopped low kicking when it looks like she's carrying those extra 15 lbs in her legs.

Bangla Stadium in Phuket plays 'Final Countdown' in between the fights. Every time I hear it now, I get flashbacks. Worse still, every time I fought, the DJ kept playing 'In Da Club' by 50 Cent.

When watching your uploads, I always ask myself “How did she get here?” How did she meet all these trainers? When did she start fighting? Why did she start fighting? She must really love this sport to move to another country for it.
I’d love for you to make a video summarising your journey so far. I’m sure a lot of your other supporters would, as well :)

Today, your kicks and hooks coming in and elbows in transition would create such a dominate narrative. In my opinion--all things being equal--the evolution of the muay khao fighter is more extreme and dominant than the muay femeu... the slow cook... sleeps, creeps, then leaps!
