I've had these violations before, I always dispute with " customer is not telling the truth, order was received, picture was sent through in app messaging system. Check route data please, thanks in advance". And they have been removed every time.
LoL I'll take a delivery for $6.66 I haven't been able to dash much since my civic was totalled a month ago I haven't been able to get another car Ive gotten a couple rentals for a day or two and I've been dashing 4-5 hours a week
What’s the point of taking a picture upon delivery? I thought the picture was the proof of delivery? That makes no sense!!!! DD needs to investigate further instead of just believing the customer! 🤬🤬
I got a CV under similar circumstances about six months ago. I appealed it but got *no response* from DD. The CV rolled off after 100 deliveries. Fortunately, I've only gotten one CV in just over 3,000 deliveries. However, I was disgusted with DD and with customers, in general, for about three days after receiving the CV.
I had the same thing happen. They told me they only look into it if you had 10 or more CV's! I was so upset! They said its because they have such a high volume of complaints that they will only review them if you are close to being let go. They told me i do a good job and they they could clearly see i delivered to the right house, but customer service said thdey can not help only that specialized team that will look at if you have a high volume of them. It's not right right. They only thing they said to do was wait 100 deliveries and keep up the good work 😢
I feel DD and other apps value their customers more than the people that do the work on the ground(drivers) they rather lose a driver than lose a customer

It’s unfortunate that we had dashers are sorta guilty until we prove ourselves innocent. I have dash cam, I snap extra photos too just in case…. Now thinking of getting a body cam too. Damn pretty soon dashers are gonna have more surveillance than a police officer to protect their own livelihood . We are just delivering food too. 🤦♂️
Just got this hit me yesterday, Sept 1. I even have a timestamp photo with their address on it with their unit number...dispute submitted. Now ready for a bodycam. It was a stacked order with Dash, no tip order tacked on with a tipped order.

I can feel you anger and disappointment bro I had a customer tell doordash they did not get their food plus I use Timestamp it’s like why lie but I am definitely getting a body cam very soon. Plus I take pictures of hand it to me customers as well idc anymore…Update the Timestamp app definitely helped they took the violation off
What is the time stamp app????? Secondly I also take picks of hand it to me orders as well and before I close it out I text the customer ENJOY 😊 and then send them the pick!! And screen shot the conversation. I’m sick of lying ass people!

I’m sorry to hear that. My tips to getting it removed are including name, address, and drop off instructions of customer. Explain what you did and that support can confirm in their system. They don’t seem to like us knowing which customer reported us.
Let cops handle it cause you know doordash won't have your back. Don't approach customer yourself let cops handle the dispute. It's illegal and these parasites need to be held accountable and deal with the consequences

Yep. Doordash doesnt care. Customer said so thats it. Then they claim they dont make money. Can take all the pictures you want. They dont care. A couple of people even on here asked. Maybe their neighbor took it. Shouldnt count against the driver.
I got a CV a couple weeks ago because google maps brought me to the wrong business. I took a picture when dropping off and instead of the customer texting or calling me to tell me that she worked at Carmax and not the Nike store she reported me. I went back to Nike to get the food and bring it to her after looking at Waze and it was 1/3 of a mile away. I hate google maps. I should have just kept the food because doordash still hasn't removed my CV.
Had this happen with the Spark app recently but via Apple Maps. Said "arrived" and all. It was the same house number just an East/West scenario. Thankfully where I delivered was home and told me it wasn't their order and suggested I try up the road on the East side. I got the groceries to the right customer, thankfully.
On hand it to me the customer should have an action on their app for delivery received. When the driver hands off, the customer hits delivery received, doordash, and the driver gets immediate confirmation everyone is happy have a nice day! On leave it, customer should have 3 minutes to retrieve order and again press delivery received and doordash and driver get notified. After 3 minutes from driver sending photo that's it!! No refunds, no saying they didn't get it no nothing. 3 minutes would allow a correction to be made because the driver would not be far away and could ascertain what happened. It also would protect from people in the neighborhood just taking the order. I've seen this frequently with kids in apartments. Currently we find out if there even is a problem by violation or deactivation. Thats straight bullshit. So I know drivers love doordash and feel lucky it's around but frankly I've seen no improvement at all with policy and procedures. Theyre too busy cooking up scams to get the deadbeat customers that cause these problems serviced. Ridiculous!!!
Sorry about the violation! No doubt DD will reverse that given your video footage. Have you heard yet? I delivered to a guy recently where it required signature, he said he didn't know why. Guessing he is one of these 'didn't get my food' cheats so DD requires a signature from him now. That Pizza Hut scenario is a good tip for anyone needing a pizza bag, they’ll give them out to drivers if you ask. Ahhhhhh, bonfire aroma... my town has a large always full campground so it smells like bonfire Spring - Fall around here. 🔥

Got really annoyed today. An independence day Parade curtailed me quite a bit, could not get to certain restaurants at all. lost a lot of acceptance rate, money and time. Door dash Doesn't care and neither does slumlord.

Why dont you knock on the door. People at my job have food out all day until i knock on the door. I assume they have turned off the notification. I write knock on my stuff and people just drop off and leave all the time. It pisses me off. I wouldnt say i would say it never arrived but often they get the wrong door so it is annoying

Always take pictures handing orders to people or better take videos lots of people will lie said they didnt get their orders i wont dash with out recording i ride a motorcycle i use a sena 10c pro to record everything definitely need a bodycam of some sort when dashing
@TheBrashDasher another good tip is always ask who the order is for on hand it to me orders people will just come up and say Uber eats or doordash to scam free food when they haven't ordered anything
I hope your CV gets resolved soon. I really need to consider getting a body cam! I haven't been keeping track of my mileage. I downloaded everlance and DD kept losing my GPS signal so I uninstalled it. What app do you use for tracking mileage, gas etc. I definitely need one for tax purposes.

I dash full time. I get exercise in when I can and also I record every drop off whether it’s included in the video or not. Shop and pay orders it’s easier to park farther away to avoid foot traffic when leaving

since your fast at shopping have you thought about starting a ebay/etsy/poshmark/facebook marketplace etc... store___i saw one male youtuber who goes around to thrift stores and discount chains like burlington coat factory, marshalls, ross, looking for mens clothes especially sports stuff like hat, jacket, t shirts, pants, shoes etc... and re sells, he also collects vintage stuff. If its slow and your waiting for an order go to a store and look around ??? if you want another side hustle. After he became more successful, he rented a small warehouse with office/bathroom

Find a reputable place. Local family establishments are best. Will often give a discount for paying cash.

I use the quick books app that tracks everything. Makes it really easy if you use TurboTax at tax time
I use Gridwise. No issues. Also use Stride for my other biz.

since your fast at shopping have you thought about starting a ebay/etsy/poshmark/facebook marketplace etc... store___i saw one male youtuber who goes around to thrift stores and discount chains like burlington coat factory, marshalls, ross, looking for mens clothes especially sports stuff like hat, jacket, t shirts, pants, shoes etc... and re sells, he also collects vintage stuff. If its slow and your waiting for an order go to a store and look around ??? if you want another side hustle. After he became more successful, he rented a small warehouse with office/bathroom
I actually have an eBay shop. Bee. More focused on work and TH-cam than eBay though
