I will always support Shani Dev because respecting mother is not a bad thing. Yes, if the father is indulging in misdeeds, is a rapist, is arrogant, is a sinner, then there is no other way than that. Apart from insulting him, if the father becomes arrogant and not ordinary. If the father of Shani Dev, then the Sun God Sun God himself, will become so engrossed in his ego, then the Tridev who follows in the world, who runs this world on his own free will, who has established Sunny as Shani Dev. According to the giver of the fruits of karma, even the Sun God will continue to receive the fruits of his actions.

Surya Dev is not arrogant but it's in his nature that he has ego because he is sole provider of life on earth, energy, light ,food if you read Rig-Veda he is called the"source of all knowledge" he is our consciousness or chetna and shani is ignorance or agyanta hence saturn is farthest planet from Sun because darkness (saturn) can only be prevented from light (Sun). Sun is our soul or atma which is eternal and body is saturn which has limited time on earth therefore saturn also rules time because he tells us to utilise the time property till we exist, he teaches us we are not immortal like soul (Sun) but we are mortal being, who can feel hungry, diseased, weakened, can die that's why shani is bitter enemy of surya because there's no karma for soul(sun) as he is witness consciousness or pervader of all knowledge and lifetime of experience this is the most accurate portrayal of both surya dev and shani ever shown in indian television.
