I'm just worried when night comes then it rains, there could be pooling of water inside...sleepless night it will be...
In this latest film I noticed she was using nails. In previous builds, jungle vines were used to bind it all together, not a good choice as they rust in the rain.
I do love all these builds. I just wish I could be apart of it.
Galvanized nails are rust resistant and widely available.

I've done some research on these "jungle shelter builders." They build it, leave it, create damage and devastation in the jungle, and a death trap for wild animals. In Cambodia, people are trying to stop them because of the harm that they're doing. They are, however, making a considerable amount of money with these videos.

Okay everything's cool and cute but what do you do when hard rain comes there's no rain go around your enclosure or does it come down inside the walls and make everything wet and damp?

She has more tools then I do. I started watching these vids with 2 guys building dug outs and doing everything by hand in rope to keep everything together. Now with nails rubber membranes and the assortment well not as amazing on the survival skill. anyone almost could build something with all that she has with her. Don't get me wrong this is still cool but not as much and she does great work.
when you watch these things turn the speed down to 75% for some reason they like to look like they are really fast wehen they are not.

How long will such a structure typically last? How much repair/maintenance does such a shelter require?
1-2 years. Not too much on the structure, the maintenance will be on the membrane.
