    Rob are you getting any rub with this setup? I saw from another video you have a slight lift on the front and stock in the rear correct? I’m looking at -6 offset wheels on 265/75/16 wildpeaks. Your black rhinos are -10, any issues?

    I'll never understand why people put black wheels on there truck they take all these all beauty out of the truck the only place I like a brushed aluminum is on the rims I know you don't like any crome anywhere Rob but to each his own good luck

      Aluminum brushed wheels are incredible. They are also incredibly expensive. Chrome is just old school, looks tacky. Black wheels look rugged and don’t show dirt like steel. Most of the head turning trucks/jeeps I see on the road have fat wheels that take over the look of the rim. Fat tires with fancy large wheels look ridiculous. The tire should be larger than the wheel as far as I am concerned with trucks.

    • @lc7192
      @lc7192 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Russell Morash I agree with you. Black wheels destroy the looks of a vehicle. They look dirty all the time. I have a Tacoma TRD Sport and it’s wheels are unique for this body style. The brushed aluminum and gloss black on those 17 inch rims look great. I went with a taller tire but stayed the same width. Faulkner Wildpeak AT3 265x70R17’s fill the wheel well and look great on the stock rims.

    • @robob221
      @robob221 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lc7192 I have matte black black wheels on my Tacoma and they don't really show dirt like aluminums because dirt is black! Unless you have gloss black what are people talking about?

    • @user-ej1bq4bq2w
      @user-ej1bq4bq2w ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robob221 It's the exact opposite actually. Dirt dries gray and shows on darker vehicles much more than light. A white car will look cleaner much longer than a black one, simply because dirt doesn't dry black. Dirt comes in literally every other color accept black, and my MGM 3rd gen never stays clean for long.

    I have a 2015 Tacoma PreRunner V6 TRD Off Road 2WD Double Cab short bed ( w/ factory tow package option). Can you advise if I'm ok putting the stock P265/65R/17 wheels and tires on it without doing any lift or spacer mods? The stock wheels on it now are P265/70R/16s. Do you think this would rub or drive worse at all with no mods? Thx

    Hey Rob I have a stock SR5 2016 Tacoma with 245/75/R16 tires. I was thinking about buying wheels before tires because I just really dislike the look of the oem wheels. Do you think it’s worth it to buy wheels first or should I wait until I can buy bigger tires and then purchase the wheels? Either way I’m probably sticking with a 16 inch wheel. Thanks!

    Great video Rob. I had black wheels on my last Tacoma. I have bronze wheels now on the Taco. Cleaning wheels has always been a breeze. No big tires yet but yes you always have to consider rubbing also better shocks and arms. Not sure if I’ll make the jump on this one probably will try to keep it factory look for a while.

    Aloha and good afternoon Rob. Yes, it's very smart to shop and search for the type of wheels that you want to install for the style and cost that makes sense in a financial way. Plus, you need to consider the fuel cost and vehicle registration renewal cost altogether. Great video Rob😇😎🐶🐕💰📼🤜🤛🙌👍👌🤙🥳🏡🌩.
