I'm legally blind, so if I played this game I'd be the biggest potato ever. Early in my life, this game would've been my jam. Love the live stream stuff, and love these videos. Even if I can't play, it is fun to learn the mechanics. Love strategy and tactics.
One thing I would point out is to not invest ur commander recoursesal all in ur generic commanders for beginners and to save them for the specialized commanders
So just suggesting when you get around to the first game you should announce to your loyal readership that they have now graduated from the academy and are now ensigns. When they have won a game 2nd Lieutenant. Etcetera,

You never want to give anyone a 'down the throat' or an 'up the kilt' barrage opportunity to enemy ships, hence zig zagging when in combat.
