Just to add to the first point , I saw a headline this weekend that “Ben Johnson assembling star studded coaching staff in Chicago”. I don’t ever remember MCDC getting the credit he deserves for building the coaching staff in the first place, they were too busy criticizing him for going for it too much on 4th down, etc.

What about the hit to the side of the head Laporta took in the Commanders game? We could hear from our seats!! Yeah Laporta made the catch but the head shot was worse than branches when he was ejected, I believe it was the bears game
Thats litterly what i just said yesterday, the sacks in the WC vs Eagles game the sacks were 2-3 one extra sack doesn't explain 30 points. It's the type of defense, the schemes. This is what concerns me about DC and our next DC. DC is not a stat guy probably. I wish they would listen to you, because coaching was the main thing that cost us that game. I hope Shep brings some new ideas to our defense.
Stick to your guns, hey!! It is about defense, no matter what you say. When our defense steps up and our offense compliments, then we will win the superbowl. Defense doesn't win games...then why did Washington lose to Philly?? Pretty sure it was turnovers that cost them the game much like turnovers cost Detroit against them. So to say Defense doesn't win championships is just silly. What cost us against San Fran last year? Pretty sure our defense laid down in the second half.
Pay attention you might learn some new things that are not just constant garbage spreading from other people. These are real facts and opinions based on facts. Pretty sure I explained the game for philly and exactly what Tom Brady and Strahan said. The right defense can help you win games, the wrong defense will force you to lose games. Turnovers are a product of the offensive game plan and play calling and also the defense staying in the right defense and not over pursuing the blitz or edge rushing. Staying back and containing forced the Commanders to throw the ball. Anytime you throw 48 times you will turn the ball over. There was only 1 interception, so turnovers dont explain the defense for Philly does it? No, it doesn't.
The defense didnt lay down in the NFC championship. Aaron Glenn came out and said the defense was too aggressive in the 2nd half. Again, too much blitzing got the LIons in trouble. You cant blitz and expect to win. The offenses are too keyed in on how to beat the blitz.
I agree 100% over blizting is not a recipe for success. That def aided Washington. I always watch you and listen to everything you say. Your show is 1 of 2 shows only that I watch because I always feel you are honest and mostly impartial. We won't always agree but honest I love the show. Your keeping me going.
