Thank you so much. This is THE BEST TH-cam VIDEO about Orca. PS: The music in this video is great but sound of the Ocean and Mighty Orca speaking their language ( saying "stay still/in group" - on two occasions with the diver) is too.
@@stevie56565 they do have .males with them also a relative if a mother gives birth of .male orca they stay with their mother forever they go and find mate if they reach sexual maturity but after goes back to their pod and they dont mate with their own pod/family
What risk? When did orca in the wild attack humans? They have killed a few but those were captives held in marine parks as tourist attractions. We've got plenty of them here, resident and transient pods, and no one has been attacked.
This was absolutely great filming. I can’t get over how raked every orca was. Everyone had major scars. These orcas were resident fish eating orcas. They didn’t seem to care with you having the camera in their face. Such beautiful animals.
@A Pinkett J there are resident orcas all over the world, there are residents off Spain that eat only tuna. Residents off Iceland and Norway that eat only herring. There are residents off New Zealand that dine exclusively on sting rays. There are residents off U,S. and Canada that eat only salmon. And Northern residents off Canada that eat another type of fish. Residents usually have a broken saddle patch like these here. And the females have a more curved dorsal fin, like these here. And plus they are a bit smaller than transients.. I saw land in the background, proving they were close to shore. Someone needs to follow these orcas and find out what they are eating. My guess these are the tuna eating orcas.
@A Pinkett J and I seriously don't think transient orcas are that playful to humans. Or do they have any fascination with boats. It's the residents orcas lately that are scaring people, in their boats off Spain and Portugal.. Because the people think they are being attacked by the orca, because these playful orcas are chewing on their rudders and using their boats as scratch toys. To rub themselves on. Those aren't transient orcas doing that.
I love being able to see orcas up close and this video offers a very up close and clear look! just a glimpse into everything these creatures are capable of. on a side note, i somewhat felt as if the person with the camera might have gotten a little close at times. i understand being curious and wanting to explore, but on some level we are guests in their space and should ve respectful of that as well. it clearly worked out fine and added a lot to the video, but just my opinion ☺️

Think again... And if you want to know more about it, watch the movie "Blackfish". Or talk to real experts on the matter. Keeping these in a basin is like keeping an eagle in a tiny closet.
Oh yes, it's much better to travel for thousands of kilometers for a chance of survival, constantly on the lookout for danger, etc. No one would prefer a luxury life you practicly don't have to do anything for food, be always safe and get the best medical care possible, that indeed sounds like a terrible life...
