How good is the iPad 8 (2020) for photo editing? | LIGHTROOM & PHOTOSHOP

- So I got myself the newest iPad from 2020, to see if I can use it for professional photo shootings and I was super surprised on how amazing it performed!
IMPORTANT: Do I think this iPad would replace a desk computer or a laptop? HELL NO! But it is a nice gadget to have in your tool box.
So if you're looking for a budget device to edit photo, video, watch some TH-cam videos, read the news and surf the web, this is a no brainer at all.

I have an android phone and I have Lightroom mobile subscription on my phone. But the same Lightroom mobile subscription does not work in iPad 8 Generation .
What is the problem ? Please help me.

I am considering an ipad for photo editing too. But i've got a question that if i import photos from SD card into lightroom (i have 1TB cloud on adobe), will it occupies ipad's local storage before fully upload all the photos on to the cloud?

ha!! good eye mate! I realised that once I uploaded the video!
So, a 15GB 4k video takes around 20 minutes to be uploaded, roughy. But I have a non-apple dongle, maybe that makes it slower?

Yeah, I used my Canon’s raw files for this video, which are also CR3

That's a great question. If I'm not mistaken, it is 97% sRGB.
how do you like it? i really love your ipad 8th gen too 😍. however as i'm a heavy user that needed many things to use, i have no choice of choosing ipad 8th gen, so i bought the ipad pro 11" 2020 instead. the ipad 8th gen is not as bad for you, but if you want to take some beautiful photos as you want to be a photographer, you shall try the pro one 😊
