Useful video. Let's say have an IAM User with the same email as my root User for administrative purposes such as user and permission management. Now, I'd like to transfer my root user ownership to another IAM account user with the same email domain name. Can this be done?
Thanks, you can go ahead and try to do what you want to do first. - Root user of an AWS account cannot be changed by the customer. The email (username) is fixed. - You cannot transfer root ownership to an IAM user. Both are different types of users. Please go ahead and try to experiment with what you are saying above.
@@knowledgeindia Both my IAM user and Root User were created using the same email address. I only want to keep my IAM user account, and so my root User account would be transferred internally to another IAM user within my team with the same email domain name.
Always wanted to understand this. Thanks for making this 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Can we manage or create MFA for multi account in organization from single account?
MFA is always per user and it is private to that user.
you read it wrong, it's written to change payment and region preferences we do not require root user credentials
updated it in the video description. Thanks for pointing out.
