Mates! I concur with your findings! I have to say I was missing Guy's Burgers and the delicious breakfast burritos at Blue Iguana Cantina on this last MSC Seaside cruise too! Lol! We have been on 10 Carnival cruises, from the Fantasy class to the Sunshine class to the Conquest class ships! After the April MSC cruise I sort of thought about it and realized MSC needs to work on getting exclusive "fun" food venues! The MSC ship was far more elegant overall than any Carnival ships I've been aboard, and MSC's Ocean Cay is now my favorite cruise ship private island. I'm looking forward to our MSC Seashore cruise in December to see what one of their mega ships offers! I get asked which was my most favorite Carnival ship was and it was the Sunshine hands down!
We sail carnival and we are going on msc in September. We are going to go in with an open mind and hope for the best. For msc we bought the drink pkg, wifi and balcony pkg for wayyayyy less than carnival which is why we booked with msc. Fingers crossed
@@TheSCTAdventures we had fun my only gripe is the showers and bathroom were tiny. The service was great. Loved the price of the drinks/wifi pkg. We will sail them again but this time we Wana see how the seashore is
I sailed MSC Divina in 2017 when they were just coming onto the scene in Florida. I also agree with your points you made and will sail MSC again in a couple years. Got to get my platinum status first
Been to 4 Carnival cruises and 3 Msc cruises. I agree food, entertainment and organization Carnival for the win, unless you are willing to spend about a 1,000 more to have the MSC yacht club.
Good comparison would have highlighted when the ships were built as well. Carnival ships you sailed had more shelf life and definitely don't measure up to today's MSC ships as far as decor.

Nice review! Mainly a Carnival guy but I'm about to give MSC a try for the first time this July. Your videos of the seaside have been super helpful.

I promised myself that after I turn Gold on Carnival, I will try another cruise line. I turn Gold my next cruise. I will definitely consider MSC.
