      Would you consider doing a video on mental asylums in the late 1800s to the early 1900s? Including during the Victorian Era? Love your videos!

    The French Whisperer ASMR, could you please, please, please do a history of books? The evolution of the paper and ink types, the printing method? It would be amazing.

    I think your voice would lend itself well to the topic of World’s Fairs. Particularly those of the mid-late 1800s when there was so much effort put into them. Thank you for the incomparable content as always! Incroyable!

    Out of all of them 'Normandie' was the greatest in design. The extravagance of her interiors will probably never be seen again. Thank you for this video!

      There was a luxury hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico back in the late 80s-90s named the Normandie. The building front was shaped like a ship's prow 🙂 & there were many Normandie themed design details. Never saw the rooms, but the lobby was lovely, with a very nice restaurant.

    If my memory serves right, the Germans justified the sinking of the Lusitania with the claim that it was smuggling munitions to allied nations. The British denied this, but dives to the wreck after it was discovered, revealed that the Germans were right all along, and the munitions still onboard make it a hazardous site.

The birds in this one make it difficult, but your train stories and various soundscapes from the cultures' folk tales have been amazing and very immersive. I am a little embarrassed, but I really didn't think I had any interest in this topic. However, as usual, he made it interesting and relaxing. Sincerely, I don't understand why this channel is not much, much bigger. So much research and work goes into every episode, he really should be monetizing the channel. I don't even see a banner ad on this one. Just awesome! What else can I say?

    • @michellecostanzo8499
      @michellecostanzo8499 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The problem with monetizing is that ads would disrupt the audio, which would make it hard to listen to. If you'd like to support his efforts, he has a Patreon account!

    When I was a kid I was fascinated by ships and the Titanic and her sisters were such a cool story for me, she also had another sister, the Titan that sank. Thanks for another great video, you astound me with your content production, with life and work, I'm lucky to release a video per month. Once again thanks for your inspiration.

    • @R0ckmans
      @R0ckmans 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, I believe you're referring to the book, "Futility, or the Wreck of Titan" which was a book written some 20+ years before the sinking of the Titanic. The book is disturbingly accurate in describing the sinking in almost exactly the same way as the Titanic disaster.

      @YellowStarLine 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope she doesn't capsize, she's at risk of it and the owner filed for bankruptcy, it's sad, she's nearly 100 years old and because care wasn't taken with the ship it's about to die leaving the last White Star/Cunard Liner being the Nomadic (as both ships were owned by both companies at different times with QM being built by Cunard White Star and Nomadic being built by White Star and being transferred to Cunard Line to ferry passengers out to the Queen Mary)

    The Transatlantic liners were truly some of the most majestic and most beautiful looking ships, in all of marine history. If it wasn't for these incredible palaces of the sea,. Then we wouldn't have had the cruise ships we have today. One question imagine if the titanic never sank and made it to the USA?
