- Please help me welcome sweet baby Elijah by Joanna Kazmierczak. This is a reborn doll! These are made to look like real babies! They are painted with many layers of paint and then rooted with hair and stuffed with fine glass beads so they even feel like a real baby! These are not Intended for children. This baby was brought to life by the amazing Cristina Ortolani from Italy. She does amazing work and pays great attention to detail! Thank you for being here!
This is such a realistic sculpt and the artist did such remarkable work in bringing him to "life!" He is incredible. You have such a lovely collection of babies and I never get tired of seeing them. Since I have gotten out of this hobby and put away the few babies I still have, it always brings back a flood of lovely memories for me when watching your videos of those years when I had a nursery packed full of babies and cribs and shoes and oh, so many other things! Such fond memories indeed. Congrats on this little guy... he is stunning and I am sure he will fool a lot of folks as they will think he is a REAL baby!!!! You will enjoy this little bundle for years to come.
Every single time I see your beautifully written and kind comments, it takes me right back to the moment we became friends and connected through this hobby! You may not collect dolls anymore friend, but my love for you remains the same as it did when you collected them! You and Bob and your sweet Pups always bring a smile to my face ! I do miss you collecting Shelley! I loved hearing your stories about things you would do or places you would go and reborn kits that you yourself would be working on! You always found such beautiful things on your hunts for treasure and I loved seeing the vintage clothing and the amazing finds you would uncover on your thrifting hunts!
