Whatever you say the defeat of Annamalai in Coimbatore is total failure of BJP and Annamalai. From last 3 elections I am observing the TN elections. Even I went to MODI elections rally near GUDUVANCHERRY by walking 6 Kms 10 years back .That time also all people told BJP will get double digits with ALLIANCE partners but settled with ZERO. What I observed is BJP is in only media and some national channels discussions not in the ground. BJP not able to cultivate the local leadership in south INDIAN states. They always depend on ALLIANCE partners or MOVIE ACTORS , to expand the BJP they never go to public on serious issues. Now in media high expectations on ANNAMALAI even though very little success. Where as in TS Bandi Sanjay tried very hard to expand the party and was successful in election results but removed before the state elections and projected someone else as BJP in charge and probable CM candidate without any IDEALOGY commitment towards BJP and not successful in BJP to became CM. So one side committed and successful candidates thrown out of party positions and destroying the morale of BJP cadre and expecting NEW COMMERS will do miracles is bad precedent going. Example KIRAN BEDI was projected as Delhi CM candidate by sidelining established leaders in BJP like (Vijay Goel, Harsha Vardhan etc) , the result is WHITE WASH for BJP ( has to settle with 3 seats) and Kiran Bedi is also defeated but still she got promotion as Governor for 5 years. BJP is not able to recover from that defeat till date. Not only this example , one more is West Bengal , where BJP brought TMC turn coats into BJP and given leadership roles neglecting CORRUPTION charges against them. With this BJP cadre totally went into silent mode and not voted for the party in recent central elections and party is limited to 12 MP seats. With these experiences BJP didn't learned any lessons and still dependent on TURN coats , CORRUPTED , not COMMITED to win elections.
