Thank you!! We weren’t sure if the teeny welder would do its job. Chris needs a new helmet so he can see haha but a truly portable tiny welder will be super handy! That ol tundra had him stumped. 🤔 He figured it out though! Stay tuned 😊
Yeah! They’re super great. And easy to deal with. This is our second collaboration with them. And they’re so easy to work with. You should reach out if you haven’t yet
@@OffGridWithChrisandKristie Jason was wondering about the 100' led bulb lights you have. He likes them and wants to get some. Where did you find them?
I understand your concern about those trees and the wind. Last May, I had $20,000 worth of damage to my roof and 61 ft. of new fencing blow down during a windstorm. I have two big trees on either side of my house. I hate the idea, but I do think I need to have them both taken down. Lots of money to spend.
@@QuietCottage awe man!! We have so many big danger trees. The trees that are standing by themselves seem to be way more volatile! So we always try to keep them in bunches. I’m sorry that happened to you! That terrible 😞
If that tundra stopped working all of the sudden, could be the kill switch circuit. Some sleds also have a throttle safety switch. Maybe even a bad key switch. Thos older sleds are pretty simple. Looks like a lot of your snow melted...😢
Bingo! They are super simple. It has since been fixed, and you’re absolutely on the right track! The snow definitely melted. But we got about 6” yesterday and it’s supposed to keep coming for the next couple of days. So hopefully it amounts to something.
We had that crazy wind also. Hope old Grampa Spruce hung in there. Lol Party room looking good. We'll done promotion of that solar generator system. Tundra issue is a tough one. You could try using parts from Tanya to test the other. It's a Tundra how hard can it be. Maybe Little Griff has a couple of ideas. Great video as always you 3.
@@glengillis7775 he got it figured out! Update to come in an upcoming video I’m sure :) Grandpa spruce is still standing! Big beauty he is! Chris is thinkin about putting in a wind turbine over there so hopefully he doesn’t get any funny ideas 🤔 Those solar generators are so awesome! We are so grateful ☺️ Thanks for watching 😄
Cabin looks good :) All lit up with allpowers great unit ! Tundra still no go ? That's the one that quit oh the lake ? Hey you guys had that crazy wind there too, Stay warm you probably have what we have for weather !
That’s the other tundra! The one on the lake had spark. It was just super flooded. This one is now repaired too. Update to come in a future video I’m sure. The allpowers units are awesome!! We really like them. And doing business with them has been a breeze each time. It’s going to get very cold this weekend! I can’t wait actually. Big fires. Cozy evenings 🤩
Maybe, they’re super tall! We cut one down that was over 150’ tall when we installed our home. And it wasn’t the tallest one. Some of them are 36” across. And we are far in the north, inland, where they just don’t get that thick. We live in the middle of an old growth forest :) a rarity in our area of BC
@@OffGridWithChrisandKristie your trees seem super huge in some of your videos. They’re a treasure. You are so lucky to have an old growth forest to care for. A big responsibility

😂😂 good eye! A gift from one of our friends. Also appropriate haha
I saw a wood stove with 2-55 gal steel drums to make it a complete stove that's not too big it's great.
So were they stacked? I’ve seen something like that before too! Innovative for sure! The stove in that cabin is a big old pipe!
@OffGridWithChrisandKristie yes there was a screen between the two barrels that would glow red hot catalytic converter.
