    That's looks absolutely perfect mate! Great choice. I wish I had seen this video just two weeks ago. I also have a Magnetic S550 that I just fit a set of P51's to in 20×10 and 20×11 with 305/30 and 275/30 Sport 4 S tyres. The 275 front is just a little too small now and I badly want 285's after seeing yours. Congrats again.

      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sweet!! Yes I love the fitment. The 4s tires are a very popular tire. You should have no problem selling the 275's for close what you paid provided they have very little mileage and get the 285's.

      Wheels were 1400. Tires around 1600. Plus tpms sensors and lugs.
      I pieced my wheel package together because i wanted the 4s tires. So im in at about 3400 or so. Find a vendor and get a complete package. Then all you have to do is bolt them on.

    I have the exact same setup on my 2017 S550 convertible. Like you, it was very hard to define the exact look that I wanted, but thanks to my local wheel shop--they found exactly what I needed and that was Niche Targa 20" wheels. They highly recommended the "staggered" look and I went with it with 285/30/20 front and 305/30/20 rear. Back spacing and offset are everything! I forgot those specs as I write this, but In have a slight "deep dish" look in the back--possible with the 305s in back. I did my set up four years ago. I plan to have my Niche Targa wheels completely sand blasted to bare metal and repainted in super gloss jet black like your wheels are. This will look fantastic on my grabber blue GT with my jet gloss black Boss 302 style side stripes. Nice job!

      Coyote5.0 do you think this wheel and tire set up will set right with Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs?

    • @mick76
      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@A21.D In my opinion.. No! I think its going to sit to tall in the rear with a 30 series. If your trying to go for the look of my car in this video it will be close but the Sport lines are not quite a 1.5" drop in the rear. I am at about a 2" drop all the way around now and in my opinion it sits perfect with my setup now. If you run a 35 series tire with the sport line it should work well but again this my opinion..but a 35 series is to much sidewall on a 20" wheel. Also i wouldn't recommend a 2" drop with just lowering springs alone. I would add some aftermarket shocks. Perferably with shortened shock bodies or just get coilovers and then you can dial in the look you are trying to achive.

    • @mick76
      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can fell a little more of the road, but i'm running a firm coilover setup and sitting about 2" lower over stock so that plays a part in it. Over all though quality is good. It also depends on the condition of roads you will primarily be driving on too. If there rough I would suggest 35 series. Roads were I live are maintained so it is very tolerable.

      It has been done. Check mustang6g.com. You will need correct wheel offset and most likely need to run some negative camber. Hey man I wanna do the same exact setup you’re running but with project 6gr 7 spoke wheels. My only question is that I’m lowered about 1 inch in my 21gt on eibach springs and my only question is that I want to run 35 sidewalls as I live in New Jersey where the roads are absolute crap. I prefer the look of the 30 sidewall but I’d be concerned about the sidewall being too thing and cracking a rim on the roads where I live. However, I’m worried that a 35 sidewall on a 20 inch rim will cause some rubbing going over bumps. What are your thoughts? Thanks! Good luck with the car!

    • @mick76
      @mick76  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should be good with a 35 series with only 1" drop. In this video I was at 1.5" rear and as you should be able to tell I had a bit of wheel gap. If you run into rubbing issues(which I don't think you will) just add a little negative camber.
      On a side note when I first bought my car I had the eibach pro-kit with the stock performance pack wheels and tires(40 series) along with 25mm spacers which made for a very flush wheel to fender and even then I didn't have any issues.
      Believe me if the roads were I live were bad I would run 35 series. Fortunately they are not and I am able to get with running a 30 series.

      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm 275 you say.... then explain to me why Michelin states the measuring rim width is a 10" rim for a 285/30. I will tell you why, because its the proper fitment. 275 on a 10" rim is to much stretch. That is why the measuring rim width for a 275 is based on a 9.5" rim.

    • @irishuwould5185
      @irishuwould5185 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Coyote5.0 265 minimum, but ideally 275 or 285. I’m saying 275 on the front of yours for aesthetics purposes only. But it’s your car man, looks nice.

    • @mick76
      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@irishuwould5185 Ok so if we are talking aesthetics then a 285 is still the best choice. It more closely matches the stretch of the 305 on an 11" rim. 275 has more stretch then a 285 on 10" rim. Which in turn doesn't match the over all profile of my rear tire setup. Now im not saying that is the case with other manufacturers just with the 4s tires. Other brands may run wider or narrower and the outcome may be differant.

    • @cecilotto504
      @cecilotto504 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      275/35 will is max out on a 11in rim 285/30 max out on a 10.5 rim , so yes the 275 has more stretch than a 285 . But the 285/30 looks waaay better on a 10in rim! On 20s that is !

      Ride quality is good considering my profile and and drop. If you live in an area where roads aren't well maintained I might not suggest. Now as far as why I didn't go with 35's.. I did not want that much side wall on a 20" wheel. Not to mention the Michelin 4s is not offered in 305/35r20.

    did you have to get camber plates for your alignment?

    • @mick76
      @mick76  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes.. in this video I was running Rousch coilovers with maximum motorsports camber plates. Depending on the drop you decide to go with they may not be necessary. When I was running Eibach pro springs I did not require them. Check my suspension video for what I am currently running. Thanks for watching!

    Hey how are you? I just ordered these rims for my 2019 Gt. Are the tires meaty enough sidewall wise for a daily driven car? I can’t decide on the 35’s or 30’s aspect ratio. Def going wide in rear

    • @mick76
      @mick76  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly it depends on couple things. How the roads where you live are and what suspension mods you have done. For me 30 series are doable but i don't daily my car. I chose 30's mostly for aesthetic. 35 series on 20" in my opinion is to much sidewall. A 305/35r20 tire is 1" larger in diameter than stock 275/35r19. So i would say if you live were the roads aren't well maintain 35 series would be the way go. Better ride quality and more protection against rim damage.

In this video I was running a differant set of coilovers and for me with 20" wheels the ride height has to be just right. Is your car lowered? I ordered the 2020 PP2 and I'm worried about putting 20s on the car and not adversely impacting the ride (i need street wheels/tires) when i'm not on the track. The wheel gap is really good and i'm wondering if it's because you lowered the card.

    • @mick76

      Yes I am lowered on Roush coilovers. Ride is a little stiffer than with the Eibach pro kit but could be daily driven. I will be posting a new video on a new setup once my parts arrive.
