I teach high school and I love playing these seasonal mixes in my classroom. It sets the vibe for chill work and conversation that I'm always striving for. The kids like it and they love the animations (I keep them up on my white board while we work in groups). I also love the animations- more than I should as an adult, lol- and I especially love the mcm decor in the last few! Thanks for consistently producing a high quality product!
I teach high school also and I use this daily for when students are working and mental zen! This raccoon has been with me and kept me company while writing and studying. He has been my inspiration in the classroom and while working on my doctorate. Thank you Chillhop!!

Just in case anyone's wondering, here's a little info about the track me and Chico made for this release :)
'It was one of the darkest days in December last year. The first Christmas I’d ever spent alone, away from my family. The day after Xmas day a good friend was kind enough to invite me along to @frankiesticks for a meal with some of his boys, everyone brought a dish. After around 15 courses, I cycled back home with a heavy stomach to my empty apartment at around 10pm. As I opened the door to my apartment something pulled me towards the Rhodes instead of towards the slumber of my bed.
After a weird holiday period spent mostly alone, I remember feeling loved, content and hopeful as I messed around with some chords and ended up recording something improvised. I went to bed at around 2am and left the recording at that. A few months later I sent the recording to Chico, he came up with some beautiful vocals and it all kind of came together.
Nearly a year later, the result being released on Fall ’21 reminds me of that night, the feeling I had and the knowing that however weird a situation can seem creativity can thrive from it and you never know what will ripple effect it may have. I hope, as I always do that my music will help someone in any way, just as it helps me on a daily basis.
Wow, I loved it behind the scene story. Sometime being alone helps with creativity hence no distractions but again we all need some social now and then. Please do creative music making with your soul and share the love for us. 💜

This is very inspirational! I find myself in strange situations where I'm alone and just sort of content with the world, not happy or sad, nice to know that i can be creative in those situations if i put my heart to it :)
Hey Psalm, when I first listened through the Fall 2021 mix I instantly knew this was one of my favorite tracks. I’ve been listening to the Chillhop compilations for a few years now and have come to love and appreciate the thematic vibes associated with each season drop, and this one really resonated with me.
After reading your story and relating to it so much it reminds me that despite feeling unfulfilled or incomplete in various aspects of my life to be appreciative and thankful for the things that I do have, especially around the holiday seasons which are my favorite times of the year. I love the symbolic gesture of the Racoon rebuilding the house of cards every time after they fall at 52:31 . Life has a peculiar ability to ruin things that you thought were quite steady. After taking a moment to acknowledge his feelings, he rebuilds his house of cards, knowing that it can all fall over again. I find this to be a beautiful metaphor for life. Stay chill everyone, and rebuild or keep building, you never know what the future holds ❤️

I am so happy that I found this channel and more specifically this series of videos. I put them on my TV when I'm studying or just doing things around the house. It has completely changed the way my mind flows and I love looking over and seeing what this lil raccoon is up to. It's like having a dynamic piece of art on the wall. So much cooler than the static pictures or short repeating gifs on other LoFi videos.

My girlfriend and I were listening to this playlist together (I Really wanted her to hear it haha) and my head was in her lap and she was playing with my hair. It was bliss, really. She kinda looked down at me and went "The title is always how I feel about you." and so, I laughed and she went "See? My heart just exploded." and it was so cheesy I cried. I thought some people may enjoy that little bit.
