Today we go back to a place we have already been to one year ago. This abandoned mansion was once the home of a Spanish doctor and his family, and is not even visible from the street, as it lies hidden deep in the forest and palm trees, somewhere on top of a hill. When we entered, we noticed in one years time plenty of things have changed, including the entrance. We decided to restore the place back to its original state, and hopefully next year this gemstone will still be in the same condition as it was.

somewhere in Spain. - I was also very deeply touched by your again tender approach to the life of the former inhabitants, - and then - of
course - your wonderful restoring action! - How great is that, dear friends!! - The living room with the really beautiful chandeliers as well as
the dining room were "indeed" worth seeing again, especially because there were some very unique art nouveau details visible in the
furniture. - I was naturally very closely reminded of a similar restoration action by our other dear friends Lesley from Bros of Decay and Danny,
Esquecidos in Portugal, where they were restoring rooms in two houses. - Of course I also enjoyed very much seeing the beautiful exterior
with the palms, the cute mini waterfall and the lovely countryside. - What an exceptionally amazing Urbex explore again!!

The gilded mirrors reflecting the light downstairs added to your reset of the room to capture its essence and beauty. I have to agree with you two about the innocence captured in the artwork with the children and their creatures. Magnificent!
Loveee ittt!!!! The house from the outside is really beautiful 😍 plants and forest around it , all the palm trees giving it tropical vibes! And i also like the mini cute waterfall 😍😍😍 they really had an awesome garden! As a nature lover i will really be happy to have this heaven around my house. Everytime i say that a video of the Spain series is my fav , i change my mind after watching the next one. And so far this is the most special 😍😂 the living room was the best part of the house , and i like how you restored it and you showed us the photos!!! What an awesome adventure indeed 😉 thank YOU! 🥰🖤

What a beautiful building, it is so sad to see it waste and crumble but atleast you folks have let us see it while it still exists and so there is record of it. I wish I could live in a tent in the grounds and protect this place from vandals and thieves until it could be restored..

Wow!!!! What a difference a year makes!!! I will forever remember the room you guys put back!! So sad to see such destruction .... every corner of that house was destroyed
By looters...... It’s was at one time a beautiful HOME!!! To me there’s thoughts that the Dr. may have cared for some sick people there or another thought..... maybe he took children in the home? It’s hard to tell. You guys did a fantastic job going thru the entire house!!! Thank you for a wonderful explore!!!!

I don’t understand, no relatives or their children wanting it, the town doesn’t confiscate thes properties they do collect taxes no? Here in USA non payment especially taxes owed the town takes and auctions them. Hard to believe no family members wanted the belongings inside for keepsakes? Just once I would like one explorer to explain how the town, country doesn’t do anything they just let a beautiful home, mansion rot, with antiques, beautiful everything inside such a shameful waste. Young people today aren't interested in stuff. I have things from my great-great grandmother who died at 107. They will die with me. My nieces and nephews have no interest at all. They especially don't want the large, beautiful furniture that you see in these home. It's too large, and not mid-century modern. Sad.
@@jooleepadoolie I know this also but before so much damage done why wasn’t it sold , better to have been sold for what ever price than it just breaking down, we have estate auctions here everything in homes, storage, homes repossessed auctioned off. I went to them many moons ago furnished my first home with really beautiful furniture. I loved antiques stripped and refinished many but an answer to my question I’ve asked in many u-tube videos like this why don’t the countries, towns, etc. repossess from years of unpaid taxes? Auction them off even for just the amount of taxes owed. I love seeing inside these old mansions, seeing all those memories of lives, families that once lived there for me it’s very sad I embrace my memories and I never would have let my grandparent, parents home come to this houses situation. Would have sold it for $1.00 with the stipulation to clean up, make repairs, and for it to be lived in BEFORE it got to present condition. I’m sure it didn’t look anything like it does now when they first abandoned it. I just don’t understand any of it. It would be nice to know the story behind the homes being abandoned. Names don’t have to be mentioned at all. I watch So many of these. I find it heartbreaking myself👋🏻
I agree with you. I love seeing inside these old mansions, but it is sad and mind boggling that this can happen.

La mansión hermosa, aluciné con los adornos de los muros mezcla de madera y cerámicas y los muebles típicos de España. Las cenefas de las ventanas del salón principal de madera tallada con detalles dorados 😳 las lámparas, la chimenea de mármol, el dormitorio con las columnas, todo maravilloso.
El tercer piso pudo ser para uso del personal doméstico, lo pienso por el mobiliario más simple, carente de adornos y porque ahí estaba la tabla de planchar.
Chicos increíble detalle el de ordenar el salón principal a su estado original, eso habla del gran corazón que tienen. 😍

The attention to detail from the ceiling medallions to furniture is pretty spectacular. The oil paintings are right in keeping with the aesthetic beauty of this home. The facade and main floor had much money and love poured into it. What a fantastic yard for children to explore while growing up. I wonder what year the Perez family had the home built. Did anyone get a sense of what stone the basement was made of?

Porque los que saquean estás propiedades buscan dinero o algo valioso que vender, pero lo que no ven es q cada centímetro de estos lugares tienen un valor inconmensurable.. Hola chicos . Sois geniales . Me encanta la forma d hacer urbex q tenéis respetando los lugares e indagando en su historia. España es un lugar donde abundan las grandes casonas abandonadas. La mayoría d ellas quedan en el olvido por problemas entre los herederos o simplemente por no tener descendencia. Un beso desde galicia
Es una pena que estas casonas terminen destruidas, el estado debería hacer algo si los dueños o herederos no las habitan, como por ejemplo expropiarlas y destinarlas a usos público, si no pagan impuestos territoriales hacienda las puede rematar, también usarlas en turismo como hostales, en fin un desperdicio. 😢

How sad it’s that? Totally in devastating decaying. The Mansion has lots of thrush made by thrashers “vandalism” . Why not let the explorers admire the magnificent of the building and let the world know?

i think the doctor either took in sick children to better bring them back to health returning them to their families or maybe healed orphans and once healthy, he found them good homes...this might explain his having no heirs to care for the estate. it certainly is beautiful. thank you for sharing it with us. 💋

If you ask in the nearby town anything about Dr. Jose Perez, it would seem that someone would have the story of this famous person. It is a lovely place and obviously he was extremely wealthy, and it seems more so than for a basic physician. I am very curious about this man. Great job guys!!!

Well that's what I was trying to tell you, you can make a group of 10 or 12 peoples name it preserve ancient places, and like reality TV you can spend weekends there maintaining the places and giving them other opportunities to live longer, you can take with you every thing you need it will be great...
