Today I cover 6 of the most disturbing, most horrifying ways that people tried to break world records and paid for it with their lives.

I was appalled when I got to that part. Seems like a real bastard especially since he did that to those animals with “homemade” parachutes. A bastard who was also stupid enough to open his visor at that altitude

What always amazes me about stories like this is the fact that people often die trying to break records they already own. They literally have nothing to prove, It's like people who have summited Everest then try it again and die. I can see why the phrase Adrenaline junkie was coined.

I met the love of my life when I was 11yrs old. We married young. He immediately took up motor bikes, dirt bike racing, scuba diving, camping out in the bush, rock climbing, then caving. Admittedly he & his mates did discover a cave & were put in the archives, they had the honour of naming their cave, they decided on “cave break-o-wind” I thought, typical lads. His last caving trip, the guys were 16mtrs (48feet) underground, he nearly fell inside the pitch black cave being saved by his mate from stepping backwards over a ledge, they couldn’t see the bottom of the hole so they threw a stone in & it took 20sec to hit the base, I’m guessing it was a deep cavern? I felt sick when they told me. He also rode his BMW road cruiser bike across 🇦🇺Australia🇦🇺from east coast where we lived to the west coast & back home again, it was a gruelling trip where his mate gave up. Unprepared people have died doing this trip across our great southern land🇦🇺. He came off the road bike on a 4hr trip from home, he was an excellent rider, only slight damage to himself & bike. Next he wanted to fly, get his pilots licence & was looking to run a flying school,no doubt parachute jumping was in his mind, he was always revealing his next steps cautiously to me. ✨Sometimes when there are close calls i truely believe the universe is trying to tell you something.✨ After 7years in our highly paid jobs & living with this adrenaline junky man whom I cherished, I became so worried & very tired that I wanted him to stop, as he’d had a few close calls, my nerves were wearing out & i also wanted him to be happy. Our conversation consisted of, if we were to start a family, it would be irresponsible of him to continue to cheat death, we agreed😘🥰He would stick to safer sports. 6weeks after we agreed, he was killed by a drug & drink fuelled driver around the street corner from where we lived after work on an ordinary day, in an ordinary car, paradoxically, if he were wearing a bike helmet (in that car) it would have saved his life, he was wearing his seatbelt.😢My darling Michael didn’t even make it to 25yrs old.😥Over our time together I was always extremely worried the police would come to my door and tell me Michael had been killed by one of his many sports etc😪 I have been heartbroken for 47years,😪I think of my Michael every day, I cry because I miss Michaels hugs & love, Michael has visited me in a few dreams where I’ve had the privilege of “real life”experiences, then I wake up & he’s gone.😪Our lives are such a beautiful gift & we are free to “choose” what we do with our lives. Our choices impact others in many ways. No one has the right to take someone’s precious life from this world. I wish every selfish drink driver & speed junky, as part of their punishment would be having to watch a video of what happens to innocent people killed by drink drivers &/or speedsters actions. I truly think this is the only way some of these perpetrators will “get it”. I will never have peace over what happened to my beloved Michael, I am reminded every day on our news channels of the carnage on our roads. When speeding drivers want to get their rocks off, they should do it on a safe track, not on public roads where families & innocent law abiding citizens are driving. So, listen to your still small voice, if it warns you to stop, 🛑 stop! And, If three people tell you to lay down, you’re drunk! I have written this for my Michael 🦋to show that his life mattered & he didn’t die in vain. I opened my teenage heart locket four months after his death, he had written in it, in a hurry, “I love you” it must have been before his coast to coast trip. This is for my Michael & all the adrenaline junkies out there. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CHOOSE! ✨Choose Love✨🥰🦋❤️🩹

Damn dude was way short on the dirtbike. I thought they had these ramp angles, speed of the bike, weight of the rider and bike, plus the landing ramp height and angle all figured out. Crazy

It would be more interesting to put the thumbnail content at the beginning of the video. Putting it last is old-fashioned and boring, a useless tactic to keep viewers watching until the end. Because they can fast forward to wherever they want. The other channels should follow the success of Daily Dose of Internet, the clip of the thumbnail always comes first. It's the channel's signature that has won millions of subscribers.

A friend of my husband lost his brother in a motorcycle accident, exactly like Bill Warner. He hit a van & was thrown off the bike. His brother was just behind him & when he got to him he was still conscious & talking. By the time the ambulance got him to hospital he was dead. The doctors said his liver & kidneys were totally pulverised 😱

@ I don’t think he meant to hit the van tbh. The worst part is that one of his other brothers had a bad motorcycle accident a couple of years earlier, & their mum begged all her sons to get rid of their bikes. She thought they had, but he actually kept his & just stored it at a friend’s house. I can’t begin to imagine how she felt when she was told that he’d died.

Interesting to me, I've never seen a whale walking down the street challenging himself as to how long he could live on the land. Whales are smart enough to know their role in the scheme of things. I've never seen footage of a tiger hopping on one paw to beat some other tiger's record why, because no tiger would even think of that. They, like the whale, know their role in the scheme of things. We are the only species who isn't content with our role. We envy fish we envy birds much to the detriment of the species. Humans aren't all that smart. I'm truly sorry to the loved one's of people who die trying ridiculous things, it is truly tragic.

I saw "Time Machine" run a 1/4 mile, hitting 315 mph before going airborne and cartwheeling at an unsanctioned North Carolina drag strip. The driver still intact within a roll cage mounted on a rocket engine, nothing of the fiberglass body but shards remaining. The ambulance crew dispatched him to the nearest hospital, hours later he returned to the cheers of the crowd in the small stands, clearly sunburnt and shaken.
