I only just noticed that the equipment quality "Titan" probably doesn't denote an artifact imbued with the quality of the mythological 'titan', it's just short for titanium (due to character limits in the English localisation).

Great run and great couch. Only thing I miss is the incompleteness of the Unholy Trinity: essentia, pux, and Brossentia. But great overall none the less. Caeshura cracking up had me laughing as well, and now found a new RPG runner to watch.

Hell, I'd have volunteered some of my free spare time to staff in the background (and give some really good local restaurant and hangout advice to our visitors) to fight some mental illness with joy, community, and gaming -- had I only but known. I have two family members with depression that require medication, and another that is bi-polar.

@outlier Assuming you do Black Omen, those blue things with the orb in the middle do the same. Not sure if they can be run from or not, but I don't think you can skip them.

not based on the out rage i've seen... and they have a point, FF7 is not the same game it once was, its going to be very different from the original, and not like Resident Evil remakes where they change the locations and fix a few plot holes ect. now a remake akin to FF8 in a few days time... thats what i feel would work.

Oops I mispelled it... it's not a Final Fantasy game... it is MANA game and was remade as Sword of Mana :) LOL Coincidence perhaps? Will every copy of Final Fantasy Adventure turn into Sword of Mana, or will we be cursed to use the Choco-bot instead of Cannon Travel for our daily commute?! BLASPHEMY! LOL :)
Even though you never decided to try it, using 1 zerker against nizbel will usually garner extra time on your run when you use them for Flea and Slash. Yeah, nizbel takes about another minute, but you save more than that from using 2 zerkers in Magus' castle.
I've tested that a few times and haven't been able to save enough time on Flea/Slash with 2 Berserkers to make up for the slower Nizbel fight - I usually lost about 1:10-1:20 on Nizbel and gained about 0:40-0:50 on Flea/Slash (almost all on Slash, since the extra Stare counters & healing on Flea ate up a lot of the time from the higher DPS). If Ayla had Rollo Kick for Nizbel I could see 1 Zerk being closer to 2; but the problem is that the only decent TP grinding spot you have access to at that point is the Hunting Range (Nus are worth a lot of TP, but take a while to find/fight).
(This is Hannibal btw) Yeah. I've always had a stronger early game than you. I've had my Slash time be quite a bit faster than you before using this method. I think if you try it enough, you'll get a respectable time.
you know, the only thing that I don't like about these marathons, are the constant donation messages during the runs, the marathon is special moment where you get to hear and learn so much information about the game, the story, the lore, the mechanics etc. and it always seems like the commentators skip out on that to cut to donations. tl;dr I wish that during the run there was more talking about the game and fewer donations, and lots of donations in between runs.
Donations are basically meme copy pastas now. Just read a few of the special donations directed to the runner and then let them go hard on the commentary.
Rpg limit break has become so big! I'm glad for the charities but this run is so much reading donations and it kinda takes away from the intimate setting the past events have had. At least the channel still hosts awesome new runs from smaller events.
Puwexil and there is nothing really wrong with that.People creating new strats are amazing, as are people who learn and master those strats. Puwexil is the later, and is possibly the single best at menuing in the SNES JRPG running scene. That deserve's respect.
During the scene where puwexil is getting magic for the first time from the end of time, I was watching an adult movie thought I had turned it off and when the girl shouts magic I had to check if it was still playing it sounded so adult filmish
